Yare Yare Mariko! Arc 1 The High-School Life of Mariko Nagato

Chapter 3

That night, as Mariko and Daiki walked out of the School and the Auditorium, they sat on a rock, looking up at the night sky, watching the moon and the stars. "I really had a great time." Mariko said, filled with happiness and excitement inside her. "Same for me." Daiki replied as he has Mariko sitting on his lap as if she were a Princess. "You know what might be interesting?" Mariko asked. "What is it, Mariko-Sama?" Daiki replied, wondering. "It'll be very cool If we had a house of our own. However, I was thinking of getting a part-time job. Maybe working at a Cosplay Cafe." Mariko said as that thought popped as she had that idea. "That sounds nice." Daiki replied. "At this Cosplay Cafe, who are you going to Cosplay as?" Daiki added, asking Mariko. "I am going to cosplay as Nikoru Kagamucho from the Nikoru Kagamucho series!" Mariko replied, filled with excitement. "Well, I'm joining you, my love! As for that, I'm cosplaying as Samyueru Yamucharu." Daiki said as Mariko felt even more happier. Thank you, God Almighty of All, Mariko thought to herself in her mind. The next day, after school, Mariko and Daiki began applying for the Cosplay Cafe as their part-time job. After applying for their job, they went out and bought the Nikoru Kagamucho and Samyueru Yamucharu outfits.

After testing out the outfits, they were ready to do this after school the day after. A day after school, Wariko, Walekki and Bakstere stopped by at the Cosplay Cafe. Mariko opened up the door for them as Mariko said, "Welcome to the Cosplay Cafe, y'all. Won't you come on in and take a seat?" "I didn't know you have a part-time job!" Wariko said as she and the other girls sat as Mariko came up to them, "Please make yourselves feel comfortable and take the time to look through the menu and tell me If you need anything. Are we cool? Cool." and took off for a bit. Half a minute later, after having the time to look through the menu, Mariko came back to them, speaking and sounding like Nikoru Kagamucho, "Attention, y'all! Have you ordered anything? Or nah?", "Is this how you treat your customers?" Wariko asked. "Exactly." Mariko replied, switching back to her normal voice. "I'll take the Chicken Ramen Noodle." Walekki said. "I'll take what she's having." Bakstere replied. "Okay, great!" Mariko replied, switching back to Nikoru Kagamucho's voice as Walekki and Bakstere gave Mariko money. Finally, Wariko replied, telling Mariko that she'll take what Walekki and Bakstere were having as well as Wariko gave Mariko money. After a few minutes of waiting, Daiki Yagimuyoko, cosplaying as Samyueru Yamucharu, came with the orders.

"So, you must be Mariko's friends?" Daiki asked. "Yeah, we are." Bakstere replied. "I gotta say It's very nice to meet you. Anyway, here are your orders." Daiki replied and handing them their orders and chopsticks as Wariko, Walekki and Bakstere began eating. After eating, they continued talking. "And while Wariko was studying, even though, I was already finished with my homework assignment, I was playing Fireball Ultra Stars on my computer, and Wariko came in, asking me what was I playing and I showed her the Fireball Ultra Stars and she was like 'Uh-huh..'", Walekki said to Bakstere as they giggled. Oh, great... Here we go again..., Wariko thought to herself. Later that evening as Mariko came home from work, she laid down on her bed, laying on her stomach until her phone began ringing. "Hmm?" Mariko wondered. She got  up from her bed, finding her phone, picked it up and knew it was Daiki. "Yes, Daiki?" Mariko said. "Hey, Mariko. My mom and dad told me that they're going to take a vacation, and since they told me that I love being with you a lot, they wanted me to live with you If It's okay with your dad." Daiki said, telling Mariko what's going on. "Hang on a second. I'll talk with my dad and let him know." Mariko replied as she walked to her father, telling him about what Daiki said to Mariko about his parents taking a vacation and wondering If it was okay for Daiki to live with Mariko. "That's fine with me." Kitanuki said.

So, Mariko rushed back to her room, talking to Daiki on her phone. "My father said that's fine with him." Mariko reminded him. "Oh, thank you so much, Mariko." Daiki replied, feeling a lot relieved. By the time as Daiki packed his stuff up to go live with Mariko, this felt like a dream come true to both of them. "It feels great to be here." Daiki said as Mariko and Daiki hugged each other. A Few minutes later, they were up in Mariko's bedroom as Daiki was explaining to Mariko about what's been going on at school lately. "Before you say something, is it just me? Or is it getting cold as hell in here?" Daiki asked as Mariko. "I'll turn the fan on." Mariko said as she walked over to her fan, turning it on, setting it up to warm as Mariko rolled her sleeves up as she sat back down with Daiki. "You know, I gotta say you look really gorgeous wearing short shorts." Daiki said with a compliment as Mariko blushed and smiled. "Thanks." Mariko said. "I really love your socks. They look cute on you." Daiki added, feeling Mariko's foot as Mariko giggled. They continued on talking about school and schedules. That night, Mariko and Daiki stripped their clothes off and putting on their pajamas and hopped into bed and cuddled as Daiki wrapped his arms around Mariko's waist.

"Since I did compliment about your feet and your socks, wouldn't it be great If I did your toenails for you?" Daiki asked, feeling out of curiosity. "I'd love that idea, Daiki." Mariko replied, wrapping her bare feet around Daiki. "Although, If you do wanna do my toenails. You'll have to give my feet a nice massage first." Mariko added, about to giggle. "That seems fine with me, Mariko-Sama." Daiki said as he kissed Mariko Nagato on her forehead and on her lips. Finally, they were finally going to sleep.
