Mokuba's POV

[2 days later]

I was walking beside my brother when something caught my attention. Yugi's friends were bickering and Yugi was trying to get them to stop. My brother had noticed it too, kinda hard not to with them shouting so loudly. Poor Yugi only ended up being elbowed in the face and fell to the ground. I looked up at my brother concerned about their lack of caution with Yugi. I looked back in time to see Yugi yanked into the alleyway. "Looks like we'll be rescuing Yugi but it would be too dangerous to go into the alleyway, it would only end up with us being kidnapped too, then who will save the little cub" my brother said before continuing on. I was about to follow after when I was dragged into an alleyway "Seto!" I shouted frightened before disappearing into the shadows. "MOKUBA!" I heard my big brother scream before I was knocked unconscious. When I awoke I in a cage with Yugi beside me. "Yugi?" I asked poking him. He stretched and shook his head like a cat "Mokuba? Where are we?" Yugi asked worried.

Yugi's POV

I awoke to someone poking me, I stretched and shook my head to wake up my body. I looked up to see Mokuba "Mokuba? Where are we?" I asked concerned. "I don't know, I want my big brother!" Mokuba cried. *why would they kidnap Mokuba too?* 《we don't even know who they are》 <it's Malik's rare hunters, Menace has control over them> +they're still around?!+ I looked up as Menace walked over to our cage "I can kill two birds with one stone. I can get revenge on Seto Kaiba and the pharaoh, lucky me" Menace laughed sinisterly. I stood in front of Mokuba and hissed "I won't let you hurt him" I growled angrily. "Calm yourself lion cub, both you and the wolf pup will get what's coming to you!" Menace growled before leaving. "THE LIONESS WILL TEAR YOU TO TINY RIBBONS, YOU COWARD! THIS LITTLE LION CUB WILL HAVE HIS REVENGE AGAINST YOU JACKAL!" I shouted angrily. <you're tiny but have a mighty roar little prince> +jeez+ *that's offensive to jackals* I burst out laughing "offensive to jackals, your hilarious Yami" I replied. *what it's true* 《I got one》 "I would call you a monster but that would be offensive to the cards" I shouted. Menace growled shoving his hands through the bars trying to get me. "I think he's angry!" I said laughing. "Have a snickers, you're not you when you're hungry" I said falling to the ground laughing. "Gahhhh, you think this is funny runt!?" Menace growled annoyed. "No, never" I replied sarcastically. "That's it! I'm killing you first runt!" Menace screamed angrily. <you're doing this to protect Mokuba> 《yes, if I focus his attention on me then Mokuba has a chance to escape alive even if I don't》 I was roughly yanked from the cage and dragged to the center of the room, in full view of the cage and Mokuba 《he's going to torture Mokuba mentally by torturing me in front of him!》 *grrrr* I yelped as a whip struck my cheek. My hands were tied and my shirt was removed as I was secured to a hook attached to the ceiling. I screamed as the whip struck my bare back.

Mokuba's POV

I watched horrified as Menace whipped Yugi. I cowered as his screams of pain filled the room. This torture continued for the next 20 minutes before Menace threw Yugi back into the cage. He pulled me close "it's ok Mokuba, our friends will save us" Yugi said gently petting my head. Yugi whimpered as his back touched the wall, I cuddled closer frightened. <I promised to protect the little prince and I'll protect you too little pup> I felt safe when the voice spoke to me. I perked up as I heard the sound of my big brother threatening to kill Menace in the most painful ways possible and make him vanish without a trace. Menace screeched before fleeing, I looked up as my brother stood at the door of the cage. "Mokuba, Yugi!" He shouted before breaking the lock and opening the door. He gently picked us both up, one of us in each arm. "Yugi's injured" I said sadly. Seto carried us out to the helicopter before checking Yugi's injuries. "These look like marks from a whip" he replied. "They are" I said. We landed at our house and Seto carried us both to the medbay. "Roxy! Tend to my little brothers, Yugi needs immediate attention though" Seto said before gently placing us down on one of the beds. My brother reluctantly returned to work. I watched as Roxy rubbed some medicated cream on Yugi's back. I whimpered as he screamed in pain "I'm sorry little cub, I'm trying to be as gentle as possible" Roxy said sadly.
