As I heard the noise of shuffling papers and creaking desks, I realized that my last afternoon class of the day was over.

Finally. I thought to myself. Time for the market. Every week, the community near the university I study has a Farmer's Market, with fresh fruits, vegetables, and other knick-knacks that are not too expensive and is very healthy.

Since it was warm, I decided to bike the two miles, but I planned ahead and brought my books, purse, and attached the basket to my bike for the groceries. I planned ahead this morning and wore a dress with the proper shorts underneath in case of wind, and wore my Converse, which is unusual for me since I live off of flip-flops.

As usual, my first stop was at freshly squeezed juice stall. There, Mrs. Rose, a lovely old widow had my strawberry lemonade ready to go. Usually, the stall was busy with people waiting for their cinnamon apple juice, but they hadn't tried the lemonade. It was the perfect blend of sweet and lemon tang that made you feel very happy.

"Hi Sunny, how are you?" Mrs. Rose asked, softly smiling.

"I'm great Mrs. Rose! I'm also ready for the best lemonade!" I said with an easy-going smile. I got my purse out, ready pay for my drink. That's when I noticed that there was another customer in line that I had completely gone in front of.

"I'm so sorry!" I said, worried that the person will be offended that I completely skipped in front of them.

"Not a problem." The customer said, smiling. I looked at the customer and saw that it was a guy around my age. Mrs. Rose was preparing him her famous apple juice, and I noticed that the customer had a thin, but medium tall frame, at around 5'9. His voice sounded really familiar, but I couldn't place it.

"Have I seen you somewhere? Are you in one of my classes? If you are sorry, I don't pay much attention to others. You just look so familiar," I rambled.

"Sunny, darling, your lemonade is waiting for you." I paid for my lemonade and I turned to see him, the customer, frowning.

"Um, sorry, no. I'm not in college. Barely finished high school." He said with a chuckle.

"Oh," I said. Couldn't relate. I got worked my butt off in high school to get a full scholarship. Although I wasn't the best student, the college that accepted me was small and had enough money. He grabbed his apple juice as I was getting a straw and we both collided into each other and I nearly spilled all of my lemonade on him.

Yikes. My poor lemonade and dress would have suffered. I do not like being sticky.

"Oh sorry, again," I said, laughing. He laughed and also apologized.

"So, are you knew the farmer's market? I've never seen you around," I said.

"I used to come here a long time ago," He said, looking away.

"And you've never come back! Tsk tsk. This is one of my favorite things to do on a Thursday afternoon since classes are finished for me by 2:00. How much time do you have?" I asked.

"I have all day today. It's a relaxing day off for me." Perfect.

"Well, you're stuck now, we're going to the best stalls in the market today, stranger. I'm Sunny, by the way."

"And I'm Dani." He said with a smile.

He's not saying no. Well, that's never happened before. Usually, people freak out when I talk super fast and excited. Hmmmm. Did he ever think "Stranger Danger"?

"So, where are we going first?" He said, breaking me out of my thoughts. I took a sip and thought about all the places we could go.

"That's for me to know, and for you to find out," I said with a smirk.

I waved to Mrs. Rose and got my things.

Off we go, to the next stall.

Off we go, for a new adventure. At the Farmer's Market.
