jeongguk snapped out of his trance on hearing his code name.

"agreed, agust. kinda wish we could help the poor fella, but you know what rm would say if we missed the dealings." he sighed, dropping his cigarette and stomping on it shortly after.

"you're right. we should get going."

agust slipped back into the shadows behind the warehouse, and jeongguk was about to follow when he heard a shriek.

"w-what is that thing?!"

"i-i don't kno- AH!!"

silence.

a pause.

the small boy from before walked out of the alleyway, completely unharmed, and he even seemed to be talking to himself..?

"c'mon jk, what are you waiting for? we haven't got all day!" jeongguk heard yoongi's raspy voice impatiently shout.

"coming!" he replied, internally cursing at himself for sounding like such a mama's boy.

he glanced back for a second to try to relocate the brunette boy one last time, but he was gone.

jeongguk slunk into the shadows after yoongi, the unknown figure lingering in his memory.
