Lia's POV
*Eight years ago*
I need to do this. I kept repeating in my head over and over again. I need to be free from him.
I think i'm ready.
I took the gas and gun in my hand and made my way out of the garage. It took me a while since the garage is a little bit far from our house.
I took a step inside the house quietly so that he wouldn't hear me. Every step i took, more and more nervous i became.
And then was when i saw him sleeping on the couch. He was alone because my sister Sia and my mom went grocery shopping together and they left me here
alone with this psycho. But that's a good thing so i can finish this thing once and forever.
I made one step closer and the floor shrieked.
I made sure he was still asleep. And indeed, he was.
Looking at him disgusted i opened the gas admiring the smell of it and spilled it on top of him.
Quickly i took the gun from my pocket and was aiming at the gas.
And all at once, without even thinking about it, i pulled the trigger.
The couch was on fire obviously so i walked out of the room and outside of the house.
Did i really do it?
I turned my head to see if it's real and i was proofed right.
No more dad.
No more beatings. No more raping. I was free.
Every time we were alone he used to do something to me. Used to do. Because now , he's dead. Because of me, Im free.
