I was driving back in Susan's car from dropping her off at the airport when it finally stoped snowing.
I love snow, but when it tried to kill me earlier today, I decided that maybe there is something more dark hidden beneath that mask of white.
I smiled. Another flash of Jason sped before my eyes. Maybe he did capture my heart....
Oh, get it together, Kelsy. There is no such thing as love at first sight! He was just a friendly person looking out for others!
I do want to see him again though....
Okay, I'm turning on the radio to get my mind off of this...this...punk!
I turned on the radio and instead of music, or even Christmas music, it's some sort of radio interview? What the heck does Susan listen to?
"So, Mr. Myers, when do you think your film will be finished?" was the first thing I heard.
Seriously? Can't a girl get away from a guy once in a while?
"Well," Jason said, "I plan to have it done before NewYears-"
Three weeks to film a movie! That guy is crazy! But hey, I'm no expert, so maybe it is possible.
The other man, who I think is the host, interupted him, "Word got out today that your main actor, Silvia Barns, quit. Is that true?"
So that's what the phone call was about!
"Technically, Miss Barns wasn't even hired yet. Today was her audition, but she backed out on us."
"Would you like to tell the audience what happened?" this host is really nosy. But I guess that's what you get for even being in one of these things.
"I'm afraid that's all the time I have, but I will say one last thing," Jason paused for dramatic effect, "I will get this film done on time and everyone who sees it will fall in love with it. Goodnight."
"Thank you all for participating in this interview with the the company owner of Myers Film & Production. If anyone is interested in Jason Myers's film, A Winter's Love, please go to his website at www.a_winters_love/myers.film&production.com. Or call him at 406-994-3367," the host added, "Thank you, and goodnight, Montana!"
I don't know why, but I put Jason's number into my new phone, aka Susan's old phone. His movie did sound interesting.
~~~~~
It was the last day of college for the year and I was walking off campus feeling good about the scores on my finalls. All the stressful studying paid off.
I found Susan's car and unlocked the door and sat behind the wheel. How in the world did Susan get out of her finalls?
I drove into town to get some groceries. I was by myself this holiday season so I would be eating Christmas dinner alone.
My thoughts started to wander to Jason. Was he alone for Christmas? Well, if he's working on his film, then most likely he is, but he's probably too busy for a holiday vacation anyways.
I decided to give him a call anyways. But after I got my groceries, and maybe after a quick dinner in town. Peter's Pizzaria sounded good.
~~~~~
I went home to put my groceries away and threw my hair up into a loose ponytail, then drove to Peter's Pizzaria. It wasn't very packed, containing only one family and one or two couples.
The waiter led my to a table near the window facing the parking lot. Instead of looking at the menu, I ordered a small hawaiian. It's what I get everytime.
As I waited for my order I looked out the window, counting the cars as they passed by. Just then, a familiar vehicle drove up and parked in the parkinglot to Peter's Pizzaria. Wait a minute!
Speak of the devil, it's Mr. Hot-shot-kiss-me-under-the-mistletoe himself.
Jason!

Hey everyone!
Just thought I'd let you know that the phone # and website address in this chapter are fakes (I made them up).
I hope you're enjoying the story. Please comment on what you think will happen next!
P.S. I changed my profile name. If you want to find me (but not in a creepy way) I'm Wishing for Winter.
