And then the two of you fell in the hole as Evangelyne tried to reach you, but you have already fallen deeper in the hole as Evangelyne began.

You simply pushed Rubilax off you as you grabbed him by the shoulder and put him beneath you as the two of you crashed into the ground, Rubilax breaking your fall as you got off him and lay on the ground as you take deep breaths.
