It was 11 am on a bright winter day and Marinette Dupain Cheng sat at her desk with a cup of coffee. Her green Cat Noir sleeveless top and black skirt astounded her, she didn't really take the time to notice what she was wearing since she woke up late and just put on whatever before rushing to work. To her surprise, it annoyed her how she was actually on time. Making it look like a Cat Noir themed outfit, she completed it with a hair tie that had a bell, which Cat Noir had too just below his collarbone. She took a sip of her beverage and exhaled as she leaned back in her chair, admiring and thanking the wonderful opportunity of working with her idol; Gabriel Agreste at his company and having such a loyal and amazing boyfriend.
This was more than she could ever ask for.

Her kwami, Tikki sat at the top of her head while happily munching on a cookie. The bluenette giggled as she got back to her unfinished work.

A knock was heard at the door. "Come in." A former blonde model said.

"Adrien!" A voice broke the silence in his room as he cringed a little but his emerald eyes didn't break the connection from his computer screen.
It was none other than his blonde secretary assistant.

"Yes Chloe?" He asked, not trying to sound a bit annoyed.

"Well that was unpleasant. Ugh here are your files." She threw some paperwork on to his desk before leaving and sashaying her ponytail.

"I gotta ask Chloe." Adrien started, his hands interwoven with each other, looking at the back of Chloe's head. "If your not bothered about anything, then why are you working here?"

Chloe stopped dead in her tracks as she turned around, a bit flustered. "I-uhh-well..." she stuttered, trying to get the correct words out of her mouth.

"Would you like me to answer that Chloe?" Another girl was standing in Adrien's doorway, her back leaned against the side and her arms folded with each other. Her eyes not leaving Chloe's as a smirk crossed her face. "She is only working here because of you Adrien." Flipping her brown hair, she brushed past Chloe. "And that's the wrong files. These," She dumped onto his desk. "Are yours. Those are Mr Agreste's." She pointed to the files Chloe brought, a few papers on the floor.
Pushing the paperwork forward, the brown haired said, "Here you go Adrien." She batted her dusty green eyes together.

Shifting himself in his seat, adrien scratched the back of his neck. "Thanks Lila."

"No problem." She winked. "Now let me go deliver these files to Mr Agreste." She picked up the papers off of Adrien's floor and desk before giving Chloe a glare and left.
Rolling her eyes, Chloe left too leaving a depressed Adrien.

Finally finishing putting the embroidery together with her sewing machine, Marinette dunked the last sip of coffee before throwing it at the bin.

"Bullseye!" Marinette clenched her fist together in victory.

"Your ladybug skills are getting better Marinette. And they influence your civilian too."

Marinette was about to reply before a knock was heard at her door. She told tikki to quickly hide before she opened the door.
"Yes-Adrien?" She was taken aback by his sudden appearance.

"Hey bugaboo." He saluted with his two fingers  before entering the room and kissing her cheek.

"Hey." She replied shyly, pushing a few bangs of hair that stranded her face.

"Wow. These are amazing!" Adrien beamed at the red cocktail dress, the green mermaid gown and black sleeveless, ankle length dress.

"Thanks. Your father said he'll come by tomarrow and look at them but I wouldn't say amazing." Adrien could feel the sadness of her voice.

Let's enlighten the mood. He thought.

"Your right. I worded it wrong. They aren't amazing." Adrien wrapped his arms around marinette's shoulder. He felt her tense a bit. Her heart dropped down to her stomach. "They're beautiful." He kissed her cheek once more. "Which kind of reminds me of someone."

Marinette's face filled with fear. Was he cheating on her and said that by accident?
"What?" She asked.

He nodded. "Mhmm. Why don't you take a look at the mirror." He pointed towards the mirror that stood against the wall.

Gently pulling away from Adrien's grasp, Marinette made her way to the mirror. "There's only myself." She said.

"Exactly." He smirked.

Marinette rolled her eyes playfully. "Your such a cheesy flirty dork. You know that right?"

"Correction." Adrien lifted his finger. "I'm your cheesy flirty dork."

Marinette giggled slightly at her boyfriend's behaviour. "Why are you here?"

"Well seen as though it's almost lunch, I thought maybe we could have lunch together. We haven't really had much of adrien and marinette time." He smiled wearily.

"Sure. I'd love that kitty."

He looked at Marinette, all smug looking, his eyes trailed down from her face to the clothes she was wearing. A blush crept on to his face.

"What?" The love of his life said.

"I didn't notice you wore my alter ego merchandise."

"It's only the top... and the bell hairtie. I thought I woke up late so I just put on whatever."

"Well whatever suits you beautifully."

"Stop it!" Marinette said. A blush reddening her cheeks.

Reality hit him. "Well, about lunch? I've got the purr-fect place." He winked.

Marinette groaned. "I might have to reconsider. Your cat puns are making me a 'spot' annoyed."

"Awww. That was the cutest ladybug pun ever." Adrien awed.

Marinette rolled her eyes. "So where's lunch?" She asked, changing the subject.

"Changing the subject."

"I'm asking fur real." She smiled, her eyebrows raising.

"Well it's a surprise."

Marinette groaned. Adrien chuckled at her cuteness.

How did he reach this far?

Approaching to the destination, adrien pulled Marinette gently to the certain area. Before releasing his hands from her face he stated. "are you read-"

"Yes I'm ready! Hurry up! I'm hungr-" Marinette forcefully pulled away Adrien's hand away from her eyes and her jaw dropped at the venue. Sure it was at the park but it was the most diligent place she ever set eyes upon.
The sun was nearing down a bit, giving the place an orangey-yellow background as fairy lights hung from one tree to another and a little picnic was set under neath.

It was magnificent!

"Well?" Adrien But his bottom lip.

Tights hands were wrapped around him as Marinette embraced him tightly. "This is beyond magnificent." She smiled.

After they finished their meal, they both lightly kissed each other on the lips.

This was the best get together lunch.
