There was once a family of two creatures that were always feared by mortals. Shunned and hunted down into seculusion, the creatures hid in an abandoned forest on the far reaches of the Earth.
These two creatures were none other than the legendary Slender Man and his not-so-well-known son, Skinny Son. This family was the same as any others, minus the absence of a female figure. They were father and son and bonded, had their fights, and made up. One day Skinny Son made beautiful artwork for his father, Slender Man. Once Slender Man saw his son's art, he insisted on hanging them up around their "town"- the forest.
Things were going wonderful until night fell and a lone girl wandered into the forest. She saw one of Skinny Son's paintings and thought it was a note that woud help her through the forest, so she took it and walked away. When Slender Man went to check if Skinny's art was alright, and saw one missing, he immidiately took pursuit of the girl that took his son's drawings. She, seeing him following her from a distance, ran and escaped the forest with all eight drawings. Skinny redrew them, but now any time someone takes a drawing from the forest, Slender Man follows them to ask for the drawing back.
However, people always mistake his asking for pursuit and kill, so they run and hide; fustrated, Slender Man has no other choice but to kill them and take the drawings back.
