After Olive Garden, we go home. While Harry's in the shower, Lilly calls me.

"Hey best friend! Guess what tomorrow is!?" She shrieks.

"I don't know, what is it?"

"Our 6 year anniversary! Duh! Do you know what we do on our anniversary's?" She asks.

"We go shopping."

"Dress shopping." She corrects. "I figured we could find prom and semi formal dresses! Maybe not buy prom dresses, because it's so far away."

"I guess we could, what time?" I ask her.

"One." She says before hanging up.

                                  ***

"Honey, you must get this one!" Lilly squeals.

"I can't get it now! Prom isn't for another 10 months!" I squeal. "I don't know what size I'll be!"

"Oh that's right. You could be pregnant!" Lilly says with a wink.

"Never. I'm too young to be a mom." I sigh. The dress actually did look really good on me. It was hot pink. It was tight up near my chest, then loose from my hips down. It had little pick ups in it.

"Just imagine." She says as she circles me. "Your hair curled, with half of it in a pony tail. You have silver sparkly shoes, and a black clutch purse. You have a white and black sparkly bracelet resting on your wrist. Your make up is amazing. You have mascara, pink eye shadow, and white eyeliner. Your cheeks have just the right amount of blush, and your lip gloss is making your lips shiny. You have the perfect french manicure. You truly are a princess. And Harry is there to dance with you all night."

"Stop teasing me Lilly!" I shriek. "I'll find another dress!"  She pushes the dress for another half and hour.

"Lilly, it's five. I really have to go."

"This is about Harry, isn't it?" She asks stubbornly.

"What? That I have to go? No. This is I have been shopping for prom dressed for four hours! I'm not getting a dress yet! I don't want to look anymore!" I shriek.

"No! The fact that you don't even have time for your best friend! Or your family! It's always about Harry. Always. Brielle, you haven't been over to my house in like a week. You barely text Emma or I! Maybe this is why Kayla left! You didn't ever spend time with her!" Lilly shrieks.

Kayla. I can't believe she mentioned her. You see, last year, our pack was seven people. Emma, Lilly, Hannah, Brooke, Natalie, Kayla, and I. Brooke and Natalie went to Brazil for the summer, and I haven't been able to talk to them. Hannah got grounded from her phone, and her laptop. We haven't been able to talk. And Kayla and I got in a huge fight. We screamed some mean stuff at each other. We haven't talked since May.

Of course, we have other friends too. But us six were the ones that always did stuff together. Our lunch table was always packed with people. There was Delanie, Isabelle, Christine, Aubrey, and so many more.

"Kayla left because of the fight! Let's face it, I devoted all my time to you guys! Don't even bring Kayla into this!"

"Whatever Brielle. Run away to your little boyfriend." Lilly shrieks before stomping out of the store. I change out of the dress, and put it back. I wait until I'm in my car to let the tears fall.
