I scoffed to myself as I looked up at the drifting clouds. "Ino, Ino. What should I do with you?", I mumble out to myself and shook my head. A cracked smile started to form on my lips. This day reminds me of a few years ago during the Chunin exams. I want to marry a girl who's not too pretty and not too ugly.

Ino was definitely pretty. Very pretty. She was beautiful. She is beautiful. I could feel my cheeks warming up as my mind was filled with my teammate now. I quickly snapped out of it the moment I realized my cracked smile turned into a smile, something I don't show often. Although no one was around I don't want anyone seeing-you know. That side of me. You never know when someone is spying on you.

Not too long afterwards, I stood up from the grass of the Nara Forest and walked back to the village with my hands behind my head, kicking a few rocks that were in the way. When I was walking back towards the village's main entrance, I found myself walking behind a blonde haired girl. A different blonde from Ino's for sure. For some reason I already don't like this person. She's got stiff and messy hair. You could tell she didn't bother to brush her hair before heading out.

"Could you please stop kicking these stones at me?" A stern, tenor voice peirces through me. I stopped and stared straight through her soul, not so surprised that it was the Hashikage's sister.

"Sorry," I grunted out and averted my eyes from hers. I walked pass her and made sure to keep a few feet away from her as I did. It wasn't like I meant to catch her attention. Geez. Troublesome.

"Argh, Shikamaru! Come back here and apologize to me!" Temari sure did sound like a hoarse donkey. Maybe worst? I don't care. I lazily paced forward. Her hand then gripped my shoulder, making me turn towards her. Oh, how distressful this was. To see the full view of her eye bagged eyes, her rough textured-looking hair falling a little below her shoulders and her uneven make-up. I winced at this. This was a different kind of threat from Ino. This is nightmare.

"Who do you think you are? Just because you are Konaha's strategist doesn't mean you get to follow me like a dog. Now tell me, Shika! Why did you follow me? I am not so easy to ge-"

"Look, woman. You will be wasting more of my breath so get to where you need to be." I cut her off and turned my heels away and continued on, not forgetting to tell her, "And don't ever call me Shika again."

That'll keep her away for awhile. Lately, as lazy as I am I did take notice that Temari was not being herself. It's been a few months since I heard from Konaha Twelve that she took interest in me. I didn't know how to handle it so I've been mostly trying to avoid her in any way I can.
