{The story starts with five year old Anna}

Dear Elsa,
You shut the door when I came to play with you yesterday. You looked so sad, and that hurt more than you closing the door on me. Mom and Dad say your getting older, and older people need time to themselves, so I left you alone for the rest of the day. I missed you when you weren't at dinner.
You haven't come out today either. What's going on? Did I miss something? Two days ago, everything was fine. We played outside in the snow, making that snowman Olaf and we slid down those tickle bumps. Remember that? Well, of course you do. It was only two days ago. No one forgets that quickly.
I also have a white streak in my hair now. Mom and Dad keep telling me I've had it since I was born, but I couldn't have. I don't remember having it until now. I've been asking them so many questions, they've gotten annoyed. They said I'll be sent to my room for the rest of the night if I ask another question about you, or my hair, or anything, really. I still have all these questions I need answered, though. I feel like there's some big secret about me, and everyone's doing everything they can to keep it from me.
I watched Mom and Dad go into your room tonight. They spent more time in there with you in there than they have with me in the past two days. I tried to listen to what you all were talking about, but all I could hear were whispers that I couldn't make sense of. I eventually just gave up and went to bed.
I miss you, Elsa. I hope you come out soon. If you know what's going on, which I think you do, please tell me. Please? I hate feeling so cut out of the family like this.
Love,
Your little sister, Anna
