Ghost of Regrets

A figure- a shadow follows near,
I'm thought to believe he's my friend,
Yet I'm the only one to see him,
The his reign of terror will never end.

He follows every step,
He breaks down every choice,
When he's near, I quake in fear,
Which then have no voice.

He'll make things hard, He's got his tricks,
In time you'll surely get napped,
He'll pull you down a twisted realm,
Where there, you'll forever be trapped.

He knows every thought and secret,
He knows when your soul went grim,
Yet the ghost doesn't tell you a thing
Of what possibly happened to him.

It's sad and it's depressing,
That his own pain never shown,
Although he's troublesome at times,
You're truly never alone.

This personal demon haunts you for life,
It's impossible to shake him away,
For the Ghost of Regrets never leaves,
You can only put him at bay.
