Once upon a time, there was a girl named Tiara. She was an orphan in an orphanage near the kingdom of the King and his daughter, Princess Augustiana. Tiara was very curious about the crown of the princess since she visited the orphanage a few weeks ago.
One day, she went outside of the orphanage without the permission of the head master. She knew she will be scolded when she comes back eventually. But before that, she must come up with a plan to get into the castle. She was an intellegent girl yet sometimes she's sly. Tiara can no longer wait. She was dumbfounded at first. Then she smiled without a trace of disappointment. Tiara took the road, walked by herself to the kingdom.
After the whole day, she stopped and rested inside an abandoned house. Tiara thought about the crown. No, it wasn't a crown. It was a tiara. A small crown that is decorated with jewels and gems and that is worn by princesses or women in special occasions. She was determined. Determined to finally watch it sparkle on the head of the king's daughter. Tiara doesn't want to snatch it away or nab the princess. She just wants to be a part of it and that's all.
After the sun arrived at the sky, the young girl got up, prepared herself and went off. When she stepped outside, she noticed flakes of white snow falling silently through the quiet morning. She smiled. She remembered her mother back then when she was four. Her mother's eyes were as warm as the hearth like the fireplace. Her soft lips touched when she sleeps at night. And her sweet voice was gentle enough to make a lullaby. But, that was all at the past. She could hardly remember it anymore after their house fell into ashes when a great fire burned it.
When she finally reached the gates of the castle, two buff guard of the gate blocked her way and asked, "Hey you! Why are you here? You shouldn't wander infront of the gates of the king. Go along. Live while you are young, girl. Before this sword strikes your heart, leave now." Tiara was disappointed after that. She was outwitted by the guards. 'I must go inside. There's no choice but to do the plan' She went backto the front gates and confronted the two guards.
"Hey! I ordered you to leave! This is not the place for children! You hear!?" shouted the other guard. "Yeah! This is not the place for children! Better stay out or the sword will finish your life in an instant!" shouted the other. Tiara stood up properly, cleared her throat and calmly asked, "You guards don't know anything aren't you? I knew it."
The two became curious. " About what? What do you know young peasant?" the guard said raising his eyebrows abruptly. "Well," she said, "today is the legend that were foretold by many people that a dragon will come soon when winter started. No one will ever see him unless someone tries an attempt to hurt me. Because I am the master of the legendary dragon." After she said that, two swords went infront of her unexpectedly, "You're lying! We all know there are no such dragons in the far west! How pathetic!" "Yeah, yeah! There are no such things as dragons little girl! Lying is bad! And we must kill you!" The two guards agreed. "Well, young girl, prepare for your death!" He was about to slash his sword when Tiara spoke, "If you kill me, the dragon will come." The two frozed and looked at each other. "You're lying." the guard muttered. "If you don't believe me," She averted her eyes from the guards and noticed the two torches behind them. She continued, "the dragon will breathe fire behind you. Is it warm infront of the dragon? He's right behind you. He came before you two nutcases try to kill me." The two guards sensed warmth behind them. They looked at each other waiting for a response. "The girl is right! Let's run!" They ran off believing the young girl's devious lie. They were easily tricked.
"Idiots." Then, she pushed the gates open as if she knew how to do it for many years. The doors was very light. 'How could the gates of the King were as light as a feather?' She asked herself judging the thin wood used by building the front gates. It was very thin though. But it's okay for Tiara. At least the intruders wouldn't go hard going inside and trying to kill the king. "That'll would be better." she said while grinning.
