18 years after 1990…
Mr. Benjamin Elliot smiled as he read the last sentence of an extremely thick book: Lora Foot finally had what she always wanted; a family. And it was all thanks to Neb Toille. A tiny tear fell from Mr. Elliot’s chin and onto the paper of the book. He closed the book and rummaged through his desk for a yearbook from nineteen years ago. When he found it, he flipped a few pages to the 2012 senior class. Mr. Elliot’s eyes traced down the page to a one student in particular. She had bright grey eyes and curls that reached her mid-back. But she wasn’t smiling like all the other kids on that page yet there was something about her that put a smile on Mr. Elliot’s face. He sighed, closing his eyes so he could go back nineteen years…
