The King walked back and forth, back and forth, like a grandfather clock. This way...and that way...and this way...and that way. He sat down, scratched his head, then this way....and that way.

This habit remained for a couple more hours, until he realized he needed to protect the kingdom from the wrath of Ganon.

"Zelda, be a dear and call for Spy." he said.

Of course, Zelda obeyed. Spy, or Stanford, his real name, was the King's right hand. Whenever there was an important decision, he sent for his trusted helper.

When he finally came, he bowed. "Hello, m'king."

The King frowned. "Hello, Stan."

After the proper greeting, the two consulted each other about what they would do with Ganon. They constantly worried, and every 10 minutes they did a check around Hyrule Castle to be safe.

"Sir, we need to decide. What will we do about The King Of Thieves?" Spy shivered at his name.

"I don't k-know. Usually, I would have Impa get a fortune, but since she died a month ago, we need a new caretaker for Zelda-"

"SIR!" Spy slammed the table. "We need to stay FOCUSED on the problem at hand! Ganon could come in at any moment! We need to Pig-Proof the entire kingdom somehow, and we have little time!"

The King's eyes lit up. "That's it! We can set up walls around the kingdom! We could make it out of Goron Iron."

"Goron Iron is VERY expensive, Sir. It would take atleast 900k Rupees just for one wall."

"Perhaps...Lost Wood?"

Spy shook his head. "He could easily burn it down."

The King was puzzled. "What about the spare stone we had for the entertainment room for the castle?"

Spy seemed to agree. He nodded his head.

"Then, it is settled then." The King looked at his sundial. "Oh, rolling rocks! I'm late for my speech!"

The King hurried out to the square. He almost fell twice, but he made it just as the gates went up.

The people of the land were worried, talking, yelling, crying, laughing, and everything else you could think of. The King cleared his throat.

"AHEM!" Everybody went quiet.

"Hyrule..."

"We are in a difficult time. I can not lie, but when Link, The Hero Of Time, left Hyrule for personal reasons...."

The crowd's eyes were on him.

"Well, the simplest way I must put it to you all."

He paused. He hesitated; as King, he was supposed to keep his citizens safe. But he had to do it for his people.

"The Evil that swept across our land is returning."

There were gasps, and murmurs in the crowd.

"Now...NOW that I have said that, I am issuing an order to all workers immediately. I need you to build a stone wall around the castle."

More murmurs.

"I advise families to stay indoors at all times. Only leave when is needed...."

Everybody was quiet.

"That is all." The King, once known as the most kind, gentle, loving man in the entire land, left the citizens to fend for themselves.

(Author's Note: I hope you liked this chapter. It was pretty long, but doesn't it make up for the delay of new chapters? The character "Spy" is created after Le_Spy on Wattpad, so drop him a sub! He is also going to include me as a Darknut! So, until then, HYAAAHHHHH gurls)
