when i was 12, i discovered that i was gay.
because of my small, strict town, i began to think that i'd never have a happy ending with my prince charming.

so i kept it all to myself.

every time i got a crush so intense, i'd open my school email and write to them, only to send it to my drafts right after- double checking to see if i accidentally sent any (which i didn't).

there are 5 total.

jung hoseok, the boy who taught me how to dance.

kim taehyung, my first kiss.

min yoongi, the boy who held my hand.

kim namjoon, the boy who writes songs.

and kim seokjin, my math tutor.

each email would start with an introduction, almost as if they'd actually see it. but after ranting about how whipped i am about them- id send it straight to my drafts.

i scroll through my email, looking back on 14 year old me, who really thought he was doing something. my best friend, jungkook walked into my room and flopped onto my bed.

"welcome home, darling." i smile at him and he rolls his eyes.

"it's so annoying to study with jin. he's so stupidly smart. it's so fucking annoying, jimin." jungkook rants, taking my laptop from me to watch youtube.

i sigh, staring at the empty space on my lap where my laptop used to be before jungkook snatched it. "you said annoying twice, dummy."

"why do you have so many drafts in your email? you don't delete shit, do you?" jungkook says randomly. i cringe at the idea of him seeing those emails.

i yelp and reach for my laptop, before he pushes me away. "WHY WERE YOU TRYING TO EMAIL KIM NAMJOON? DAMN YOU REALLY OUT HERE TRYING TO SMASH RAP BOY,"

i scream loudly, trying to grab my laptop. jungkook pauses, his face gave everything away.

"jungkook... what did you do? jungkook!" i yell, taking the laptop.

they sent.

"HOW DOES ONE DO THAT. HOW, JUNGKOOK. HOW?!" i yell. jungkook flinches. i sigh. "i'm so mad."

he nods. "at least your email is cleared out. it's good to clean it every once in a while." i slap his arm as he laughs.

but in the end, who's the bigger dumbass?
