It was a tad sad at California, the sunny sun was nowhere to be seen. Instead, the state was covered with heavy grey colored clouds that are swollen with water. Just about an hour ago, the violent drops started pouring, leaving wet citizens outside as the large drops of water ambushed roofs, cars, umbrellas, and even people who forgot to bring a shield for the rainy day.

At the CBI, the SCU personnels are quite bored. They have nothing to do but to linger in the bullpen or grab something to eat. Meanwhile, a consultant is very ready to make fun to his favorite boss.

'Lisssssboonnnnnnnnn!' Jane screeched throughout the halls while approaching the senior agent's office.

'What?!' Teresa snapped as she looked above from her paperwork. She gave him the old fashioned glare.

'Why on Earth are you wearing a blanket above your head?' She asks him in disbelief, really, the man is weird.

'Why so snappy today? Can't you just enjoy for like, a second?' He said while keeping the white sheet that covers his whole body and laid down on her couch.

'I can't enjoy the day because it's raining,' She quips before she can stop herself.

'Oh, Teresa Lisbon- the tough senior agent of the CBI prefers sunny days. Oohh, the fact shocks me.' He mocks her knowingly.

Of course, he's going to make a big deal out of it.

'I am not disscussing why I love sunny days more than rainy days with you Jane,' she deadpanned and returned to writing.

'And shut up! I'm doing something.'

'Mhmm hmm. Okay, as you wish.'

Then there was an abundant silence while Lisbon takes care of her paperwork in much needed peace of mind. But her consultant interferes at some point.

'Awoooooooooo.' He said with hand motions, approaching Teresa to sit down in one of her chairs.

God, she thought. Jane finally let her get the silence she wanted. But no, no, he likes to annoy the hell out of her.

She narrowed and rolled her eyes at him.

'Aw c'mon Lisbon, get scared,' Jane teased.

'Oookaaayy, oh my god. I'm scared,' Lisbon said as she placed the pen in her bic, she finally gave up on her paperwork.

'Sarcasm is-'

'The lowest form of wit, yeah Jane. I get you.'

'Lisbon! Brighten up! It's nearly Halloween,' Jane exclaims as he tried to coax her again.

She snorted, in an unladylike manner, 'Yeah right, I'll brighten up if you stop acting like a five year old playing Casper the friendly ghost.'

'Like I said it's nearly Halloween, there will be lots of candies, children dressing up and you ought to know? Maybe we'll catch a case that involves ghosts. Oh! Maybe we'll even expirence supernatural things? That would be new.' He smiled through the white sheet, like white Christmas. Teresa didn't know why she also smiled in return.
