(A Month later)

"Erica! I know you hear me talking to you?" My mom yelled as we sat in the living room.

"Actually i didn't." I said rolling my eyes.

"Well I said , have you been looking for you a job. Because if you are gonna stay In this house, then you are gonna have to contribute." She said.

Ughh here she go with this shit.

"Yes, mother I have been. I've been searching very hard so me and my kids can get the hell up out of here." I said standing up to go to the kitchen.

But the door bell ranged.

"Who is it!" I said going to the door. But go no answer. "Who is it." I said opening the door but instead of being met with a person. I was met with a package.

"Who's at the door?" My mom asked.

"No one! Just mail." I said opening the package and terrified of what i saw. It was pictures of me and the kids. Us at church, at the mall, at the grocery store, at my parents kitchen table. I hurried and Shut the door. This could only be one person Jason.

(Later the night)

"Wait, so you mean to tell me, there is a mad man out there stalking you?" Abgail asked.

"Abgail, I thought I got away. I thought I erased him from my life." I said pacing.

"Apparently You didn't if he has pictures of you." She said holding up the pictures.

"Your not helping." I said Looking at her.

"How did you even meet this nut anyway?" She asked.

"Well......

(Flashback)

"Mr. Kerry, it shouldn't matter if the child wasn't raised in a stable house or not. The point that needs to be made here is if you are sane enough to do the crime . You are sane enough to take the punishment. My parents always taught to be a woman about my actions even if my mind isn't in the right place." Erica said as she spoke to her professor.

"Well said ms. Brakes. Anyone else wanna argue this case?" He asked Looking around

"I would." A husky deep voice said. Which Erica sit up and her seat.

"Ahh mr. latiamore go ahead." The professor said.

"Well, i think I'm gonna have to disagree with ms. Brakes here. It actually does matter if your raised in a stable home. Because if a child is raised in a home with an unstable mother and father. Then you can't blame the the child for being unstable as well."  Jason said.

"I'm not saying that. Im just saying if the crime was done, punishment should be served." Erica said wobbling to the front of the class.

"Tell him girl." Someone said clapping their hands.

"But ms. Brakes , if that child is not in its right mind. You can't just throw them in the gutter." Jason said walking to where Erica was.

"I'm not saying that mr. latitamore, like I said before if the crime was done, justice should be served and if that means punishment then so be it." Erica said getting in his face. And just when he was about to say something back the bell ranged.

"That's enough for today class. Remember tomorrow we started on the true of the Odessa," the professor said.

"Nice argument ms. Brakes." Erica heard as she was walking out the door.
