The past masters

Jay's Pov

They believed me. I hadn't spoken to Nya yet. But the others were going to try and break me out of here. I was afraid to leave, what if they could only take me? I just got my mother and I wasn't ready to lose her again. "Jay, you can't keep stressing. Our stress makes the comb weaker." My mom said combing her hand through my hair. I chuckled. I hadn't met any of the past masters yet, cause apparently they all had their own piece of the comb. But if I stayed in here alone the comb would always be weak. "Can I meet the others?" I asked wishing to know more about my powers heritage. My mother smiled "Of course!" She closed her eyes as her hands glowed blue. A few moments later all these people showed up. "Woah... You're going to have to teach me that." I said as my eyes widened. One guy with long braids caught my eye. "Jay, meet Draxton he was the second lightning master" My mom introduced me. 'THE SECOND LIGHTNING MASTER EVER?!' I thought as I shook his hand and nodded towards him. "It's very nice to meet you" I greeted. One by one people walked up ready to introduce themselves. 'Here we go' I thought as I grinned.

Lloyd's Pov

Nya had lost her mind. She had none stop been trying to find a way to break the comb. We had learned that there was one way to get Jay out, for someone to take his place. We refused to tell Nya because we were all afraid that she would sacrifice herself before we could talk to her. I didn't tell anyone but I planned on doing the switch. "Lloyd, I know you're planning on doing it" Zane said opening my bedroom door. I spat my water I was drinking all over the floor. "Zane, I'm not planning on that at all" I reassured. Zane glared at me. "The wet floor would say differently." Zane grinned grabbing a towel to clean it up.

Kai's Pov

I was afraid. I was afraid to lose another person. I wouldn't lose anyone else. I promised. 

Jay's Pov

The past masters said they had a surprise for me. "Master Jay, we present you with the looking room." Annalise said(she was the fifth master). I looked inside and saw Lloyd's bedroom. "I can see outside the comb?" I asked as I felt tears rise in my eyes. They gave me some time alone. I just sat there in front of this room. "I finally found you" I heard a voice say. I looked up to see Nya standing in front of the comb. She was sobbing. "I miss you so much" She cried. I couldn't take it and tried communicating with her. "Nya?" I whispered. Her head perked up. "They aren't lying! Y-you can communicate with us!" She exclaimed as she held her hand over her mouth. I smiled. 'I hope I don't regret this' I prayed. "Ask away" I joked.
