No, the real question Rose asks herself is; 'can she love again?' Rose gives Keiji another hug thanking him for all he has done for her. Maybe she can love again. However, it would be hard since it seems so far out of reach, trust is something earned not given. Rose really needs to remember that.
The school days roll back around. School is different, Scarlette likes to give Rose a hard time but she has great friends, and Keiji by her side, except she has started calling Keiji, Kei, things are definitely beginning to change. The more Rose thinks about it the more she sees the signs of Sam and his fake friendship, she just wishes she saw it sooner
