its Lunch at the orphanage and I am helping with Gabby and Alex. Rose and Neil are right by my side waiting for there food.
"Abigail What do you think you are doing." Edith comes into the room. she spook so loud she scared Rose and Neil.
"i'm feeding the babies. its time for them to eat." i said while making a funny face at the babies
"well stop it there is a couple here wanting to see Alex." i stopped making the face. i pick up Alex.
"can i meet the people that one to adopted him?" i said swaying back in forth with him in my arm. i look up at her waiting for an answer.
"no it would be for the best." she reaches for Alex. i back away.
"what do you mean. he is like my brother. i deserve to know how is adopting him." i try not to raise my voice for the kids. Rose and Neil are sitting quietly. Edith looks at Alex than back at me.
"well can it?" i am demanding an answer from her.
"well i suppose. they will be her in 15 minuets. get him washed up." sad walked out of the s room. Rose and Neil get up from the chair and walks to me.
"Abigail is Alex going buy buy." Rose asked me sounding very sad.
"he might." I put Alex in his high chair and get down on my knees to be face to face with Rose and Neil.
"will we ever be adopted Abigail?" Neil asked while i grabbed both of there hands.
"of course you will you both will. i promise. now go find Kate and tell her i told you to make you guys some food. i have to help out with Alex." I give them a kiss on the cheek and a big hug. they run off to find her. Jewel a another worker sames into the room.
"need some help with the babies." she asked she is probably their only kinds nice one here.
"just feed Gabby please. i need to go wash up Alex."i waked out of the room with Alex in hands. We get to the baby's room. i lay him down and change his diaper. I grab his best cloches. its a onesy with a duck on it with blue pants. i bring him to Edith and i see the people that want to adopted him.
"Mr. and Mrs. Smith this is Abigail and that hansom little man she is holding that would be baby Alex." Edith said with a smile on her face. i better remember this cause i will never see that again.
"take good care of him please." my eyes start to water as i hand them over Alex.
"we will darling." we smile and look down at Alex there faces are glowing. i know they will be good parents.
"so paper work?" Edith asked. they look at each other and smile.
"Yes." Mrs. smith says with one single tear going down her face. they look back at each other and kiss. i leave to go to find his paper he was brought to the orphanage with and make a copy. i get back to the room.
"here i don't know if you want this or not but this a letter her was brought here wit. i hand over the original and put the copie in my pocket.
"thank you." Mr. Smith said. i stay in the room till they leave. one by one the kids come in. next thing i know we are all there.
"well i think we have every thing. ill get his bags." Edith said looks reliefs. the Smiths smile and look at Alex. it is a perfect moment. Edith comes back in with his bags.
"well here you go." she said handing them his bags.
"well we will be on our way." Mrs. Smith looks at all of us. they walk out and the little kids and yelling by to them i walk back to my room and lay down and fell asleep.
