The strange man looked right through me, into my soul with his mysterious dark brown, almost black eyes.

His skin was fair and looked like he hadn't been in the sun in years, or ever. Face welcoming but yet, almost scary, nothing like a normal expression.

"I am Dwaldo, the great, magician and hypnotist. I can predict the future whether great or bad, and read your life lines either happy or sad."

"Cheesy," my mother chuckled under her breath.

Dwaldo gestured me to the table, a proud smile tickling the corner of his mouth.

"Excuse me madam," he said sourly.

Mother walked out slowly keeping her eyes on him.

"I'm not going anywhere."
