Yare Yare Mariko! Arc 1 The High-School Life of Mariko Nagato

Chapter 5

The next day as Mariko and Daiki arrived to School as they saw Wariko, Walekki and Bakstere on the way. "Good morning, Mariko-Chan!" Walekki said while waving, along with Bakstere. "Sup, y'all." Mariko replied back. "Nothing much. Say. What did you and Daiki do yesterday?" Bakstere asked. "He and I were playing Miraculous Red on my laptop." Mariko replied. "Miraculous Red?" Wariko wondered. "It's a game created by Fireball Studios where you play as Baxter Eberesu, who becomes Red Noir, and sets out on an adventure to save the world from the evil monstrous Ballard Eberesu III, who becomes Doomsday." Daiki answered to Wariko's question, including every detail he can remember. "If you're wondering where we got it at, It's from a website, called GameJolt." Mariko added, remembering as well. Later during class, Mariko and her classmates were paying attention to their teacher about a new assignment that they got to do. As their teacher was passing out the assignments, Mariko felt more energetic to do the assignment. Where the hell does that chick get her energy from?, the Teacher thought. As everyone was getting ready to do their new assignment, their teacher went over some with them. Later by the time after going over some of the problems, Mariko was the first to get it done quickly. So, she got up and turned her assignment to the teacher.

After all the hard work, Mariko felt tired after doing it quickly and fast. Dammit, there goes my freakin' energy..., Mariko thought to herself. She remembered and realized that she is one of the energetic girls in Hajikoru High School. For example, when she had P.E. years ago, she would always do the bar fast, running the lap faster than everyone else and being very energetic with sports. In other classes, she would always pay attention to any of her teachers on what to do with the assignments. After paying attention, she knew what to do. She would follow each step that's telepathically telling her what to do on the assignment. After getting the assignments done, she would always earn a 100%. Flashback to the present, Mariko is still very energetic as of today. "Hey, Mariko-Chan." Wariko called to her. "What is it, Wariko-San?" Mariko asked, wondering what Wariko wanted. "May I see you at the front gate after school?" Wariko asked. "Sure." Mariko replied. "I hope it's nothing bad." Mariko added. "Oh, it's nothing bad." Wariko replied. "What'chall talking about?" Walekki asked. "It's noting, sis." Wariko replied. "Heya guys." Bakstere said. "I'd like to introduce my sister. Gisutara Takahaku!" Bakstere added, introducing them her sister. "Hi, y'all." Gisutara said, bowing down.

Gisutara walked over to their conversation. "I hear you must be Lekki's best friend." Mariko said, noticing. "Yes I am." Gisutara said. "I hear you and Yagimuyoko-Kun are a lovey-dovey-duo." Gisuatara added, reminding Mariko about what she has heard. "Daiki and I sure are." Mariko replied. Later after school, at the front gate, Wariko and Mariko began to chat. "All of us students know that you're very energetic when it comes to doing assignments. I don't mean to be nosy, but, are you energetic around Daiki?" Wariko asked. "I stay normal. I always like to get my assignments done very fast like nobody has seen before." Mariko replied. Later, when everyone else got out of School, Daiki came rushing towards Mariko, hugging her as Mariko began hugging Daiki back as the two started smooching as usual. Then, they held hands on the way home as Lekki and Kazuya were catching up with them. By the time they got home, Mariko and Lekki's aunt Zoe Nagato welcomed them. "Hey, Aunt Zoe. How are you doing?" Mariko said. "Doing alright. Your cousins are upstairs." Zoe replied as Mariko, Lekki, Daiki and Kazuya walked up to their room and saw Gyuka Nagato, Mariko and Lekki's Older cousin, and Rina Nagato, Mariko and Lekki's younger cousin.

"Hey, y'all!", Gyuka said. "Heya Itoko-Chan." Mariko and Lekki replied. "We didn't know you two had cousins." Daiki and Kazuya said at the same time. "They're here to hang out with us." Mariko replied as she introduced her two cousins to her boyfriend. "This is my boyfriend, Daiki. Daiki, these are my two cousins, Gyuka and Rina. Gyuka's the oldest. Rina's the youngest." Mariko said as Daiki and the two cousins met and bowed down. After introducing, Mariko, Daiki, Lekki, Kazuya, Gyuka and Rina kneeled down for a wonderful conversation. "So, Older cousin. What have you and your man been doing all of a sudden?" Rina asked. "Been going out, watching the stars, chatting and even playing games on my laptop." Mariko replied. "Nice!" Rina replied. "What about you, Lekki? What have you and Kazuya been doing?" Gyuka asked. "We enjoyed having a place of our own until our place burnt down.." Lekki replied. "That felt like hell to you, eh?" Gyuka asked. "It sure did." Kazuya replied. Mariko grabbed her laptop, opened the lid, and went onto the official Fireball Studios page, to see If there were anymore games to download. So, she downloaded the game "Real Life" by Fireball Studios. After downloading it, she started playing the game.

"Mariko-Chan?" Gyuka wondered and noticed the laptop on Mariko's lap. "Yes?" Mariko paused for a second, wondering what's up. "What'cha doing?" Gyuka asked. "Playing Real Life. It's a game by Fireball Studios." Mariko said. "It's Rated M, too. As an 18 year old lady, I be playing these kinds of games." Mariko added. "Rated M?" Rina repeated. Later, as time keep flying, Mariko's phone started ringing. It was Wariko. Mariko picked her phone up and answered it. "Yes, Wariko?" Mariko answered. "Hey, Mariko. What's going on?" Wariko wondered. "My two cousins and my Aunt came over to hang  out." Mariko replied. "Oh, I see. Anyway, Walekki and I were wondering about coming over for a visit." Wariko said. "We've been rather bored." Walekki added. "Hang on a second." Mariko said as she walked out of her room, asking her father about having her friends over. "It's fine with me, Mariko." Kitanuki said. So, Mariko headed back to her room, talking to Wariko on her phone again. "My father said yes." Mariko said. "Great! We'll be on our way!" Wariko said as the two hung up. Back to the conversation, Mariko, Daiki, Lekki, Gyuka and Rina continued chatting. Finally, Wariko and Walekki arrived and headed up to Mariko's bedroom. "Hey, Mariko-Chan." Walekki said as she and Wariko joined in with them. "Hey, y'all." Mariko said to her friends.

"Are these two twins your friends?" Rina asked. "Before Mariko answers, Just know that my sister Walekki and I are different types of twins, not identical twins." Wariko replied. "Yes, they're my friends, Rina." Mariko replied. "Such a pleasure to meet you two." Rina and Gyuka said. After introducing, they sat down for a sweet conversation. Wariko, however, was looking around, noticing Mariko's whole collection of figurines, games, manga, and even anime. God, she has a big ass collection right there., Wariko thought to herself. Just then, she sees Mariko's Nikoru Kagamucho outfit. Wait, she has that outfit?!, Wariko thought to herself. "You good, Wariko?" Rina asked as Wariko jumped out of her thoughts. "Y-Yeah." Wariko replied. "I gotta admit Mariko, you have a big collection right there." Wariko said to Mariko. "Nice of you to notice." Mariko replied. "I didn't even notice your whole entire collection. Holy Crap." Daiki said, noticing what he and everyone else has been seeing around in Mariko's room. "Say, I hear that you and Daiki are real good dancers." Gyuka said, changing the subject. "I wanna say you two danced very well." Gyuka added.

"Thank you, Itoko-San." Mariko replied. "Thanks. However, Mariko and I can be considered as The Dancing Lovey-Dovey Duo!" Daiki replied, adding a perfect duo name for him and Mariko. "Good one, Daiki." Mariko said. I love it when they are together., Rina thought to herself.
