"Stop go slower wanna get me killed!". I screech at Liam while he just chuckles and ignores me "C'mon don't be such a baby" I hit his arm slightly when he stops at the diner. "Easy for you to say Mr.Alpha, you found your mate and if something happens you'll be remembered but because of my crazy phycotic and shall I mention possessive older brother i haven't yet". "Ouch thats hurtful"'he opens the door for us and holds his hand to his heart feigning hurt "I'm hurt that you think like that of me sissy plus a mate isnt that important-" he got inturupted by Sophia who was sitting at the second closest table.
"Hey Soph did you know your boyfriend is a bad actor and also he's really mean" to add more effect I pouted and looked at Liam when I sit down in one of the chairs in front of her. "So what I'm hearing is I should dump him?" she winks and tries to hold back her giggles.
"That's not funny babe'' Liam almost whines while pecking Sophia's lips quickly "I really missed you" Sophia smiles and gives him a peck on the cheek "I missed you too"
All I could do was watch it was always the same I could've just went home but noooo since my brothers a lunatic he makes me go with him 'cause he didn't want me to be alone at home. Pshhh like I cant take care of myself. "Look at that, mister alpha is whipped." You could see how Sophia blushed my brother almost matching her shade but since he was in a public place he hid it the best he could even I could barely see it. By their reaction I could tell that they had forgotten that i was there.
"Hey guys" said Ruth,she's a nice old lady that belongs to our pack she used to be our grandmothers best freind and she's practiclly ours she's seen us grown. We've told her a million times she doesnt have to work here I mean the dinner is her's but she has enough employees,since she employes any teenage werewolf in our pack that needs or wants to work , so why not chillax but she can never stay still.
'Hey Ruth" i smile stand up and hug her. "Hey baby girl how are you doing?"
"nothing being ignored by the love birds" she chuckles and says "Wait till you find yours dont get your knickers in a twist fate has it all planned."
"I know I know but still tell me your story again please" I couldn't help but plead for her story just like when I was 2.
She chuckles at my excitment "Well you see-" "I'm sorry Ruth but theres an emergency we have to go to the pack house c'mon"
This is the part when he shows why he's a great leader my brother can joke around but when it comes tp the pack he knows he has the lives of people in stake and he takes it seriously. "What happened?"
"I'll explain later Eveline." He practiclly drags me and Sophia out of the diner. If this was any other time I wouldve pressed for information but he called me by my full name which means buisness he always calls me either sis or eve but he better not think that's he not gonna tell me later. Suddenly something catches my attention its a scent and it smells like... mint and rain you know fresh rain its I don't know it smells good. My brother was saying his goodbyes since even if they see each other in a few minutes they always do. I take advantage of his distraction and start looking for the person that the wonderful smell belongs too but with everyone in the parking trying to get to their cars since most of the people there belonged to our pack and apperently my brother sent I mindlinks I guess.
"Earth to Eve c'mon get in." I heard liam and i got in instinctly though my wolf was restless and I didn't know why so I just ignored it, I couldv'e told Liam but he seemed like he was to busy already . "Be careful?"
"Be careful"
"Always am bro"
"Always am sis" he kisses my cheek quickly and tells us to hurry up.
