It's been about two weeks since I started at the school. To say I didn't like the school was an understatement. All the female teachers seem to have problems with me, and so do the students. At the same time 99.9% of the Male population won't stay off my ass. For no reason. The only good part about the school was Tye and his buddies. I've gotten pretty close with them in the time we've spent together. But, right now that was the least of my worries.

Its 6:30 and there is bruise on the side of my face.

I can thank my uncle for that

I paced my room. I could just stay home.

And get hit again?

I had taken a hot shower hoping it would magically disappear. It didn't. I'm all dressed and ready trying to figure out what to do. I don't wear makeup nor do I own any, so I can't cover it even if I wanted to. I took my hair out of the low ponytail it was in fluffing it up so it would cover the bruise. My phone rung causing my heart to beat faster. I already knew it was Tye I didn't have to look to know. I picked up the phone taking a deep breath.

"Why aren't you outside? We're out here waiting for you." He asked with concern.

"Sorry I'm still packing my bags for t-the." I paused for a moment after stuttering, looking at the two duffle bags already packed waiting for me to grab. Sighing I curtly spoke. "I'll be out in a minute" I hang up on him grabbing my bags. I climbed out the window running to the car. Throwing my bags in the trunk I pause for a moment taking a deep breath. Walking around the car I get in the passenger side. "Hey guys" I greeted buckling in. They all muttered their heys to me. I looked at Tye who was already looking at me.

"You ready?" He asks starting the car.

"Yup" I say popping the p. We were going to great wolf lodge for winter break which. Everyone pitched in what they could and it came out to be enough because we all have jobs. I had been taking extra shifts so my pay check came out as more. But my money was gonna be used as extra for fun stuff. Floyd's words not mine. The drive from the Bronx to great wolf would be about 2 hours or less. I turned up the music humming to big bank.

"Show my ass like a stank hoe" I sung along rolling my hips in the seat.

Tye turned down the music causing me to look at him. "Woah woah chill out" he said making a face at me.

"I was just singing along" I told him subconsciously pouting.

"Yeah" he spoke nodding his head. "You were singing along a little bit to well there" I rolled my eyes at him leaning back in my seat.

"So are we smoking before or after we get there" Tati asked leaning forward. My eyebrows furrowed.

They smoke?

"Stop fucking moving" Trell groaned out. I craned my neck to see what they were complaining about. Tati was sitting on Trell and the 4 boys were squished in the three seats.

"Shut the fuck up bitch" she mocked him turning to smack him upside his head.

"Your ass bones are stabbing me. You have no ass to cushion your sharp bones from stabbing me." He hissed hitting her back.

"You just mad because I get more ass then you." She smirked shutting him up effectively. Oh yeah and turns out Tati is gay. I was kinda bummed about it for a minute. I wanted at least one girlfriend to talk about boy stuff. Which I knew she wouldn't be interested in and I wasn't going bother her or make her uncomfortable doing so. Tati is super funny and sweet to me which lifted my spirits after realizing I was the only one in the group attracted to guys. Looking at everyone's faces made me feel bad.
