Clinging

Please be easy with me on this entry? I've just recently lost my grandmother and as of late I am feeling somewhat alone and I am not one to voice my feelings very often, this is also my very first upload on here so I am quite nervous about what kind of feedback I am gonna get on this piece. I shall worn you now, it has been a VERY long time since I have written poetry so my writing may not be up there with the rest of you poetic geniuses. I hope you like it, as you are the only ones who have seen this, other than me that is.

Ok, enough of my rambling and on with the poem...,

Thank you all,

Em

You are clinging

Not letting go

Not wanting to

Is it the fear,

of what's to come?

Or the feeling,

that this is all too soon?

Succumbed to sorrow,

sorrow for you

and I, too

Your fight comes to an end

as the hand of someone,

Someone whom is powerful and ruthless

Ruthless with such master plan

Shatters this light,

Your light,

My light

And I am in darkness

Pain and sorrow rips my soul in two

And I am alone again...

Clinging

Not letting go

Not wanting to.
