Taylor's POV~
As I turn towards Lexie and smile I hear her scream and when I look back on the rode it's to late. I went off the rode and we flipped. Soon everything goes black.
I wake back up hearing sirens and people honking their horns in a hurry to get home I look around until my eyes see the one thing I never intended on seeing. Lexie is sprawled across the grass, blood dripping from a cut, glass shards everywhere, the windows had busted out from the impact. Tears prick around the rim of my eyes, then they come down in streams, rushing down my face. I did this I hurt her. I should've kept my eyes on the rode. I yell with the tears still streaming down my face.
"Lexie! WAKE UP PLEASE!"
"Sir please calm down." the police officer walks up to me and places his hand on my shoulder.
"NO I NEED TO MAKE SURE SHE'S OKAY!"
"Sir calm down everything will be taken care of."
"I DIDN'T ASK THAT! IS SHE OKAY?" He then called someone else over.
A man with short blackish gray hair and green eyes walked up to me and sat in front of me.
"Now I'm gonna need you to calm down and answer a few questions for me."
"No, not until I know she's okay." He nods toward the officer and walks away.
