richie picked at his nails when he got home, annoyed by the bruise forming on his face. he looked out the window, the rain like a snail on the glass. he was bored and he wanted eddie to come over. so he texted him, and sure enough, he agreed.
the wait for his eds was rather short, like him, as he appeared at the front in less than five minutes. richie raced down the stairs and came face to face with eds. he looked wonderful. his face light up even though the rained poured down, heavily beating at people's umbrellas. his eyes were filled with sunlight that made them look glowy. and even though his hair was an absolute mess, richie adored it.
eddie let himself in, pulling richie up the stairs and leading him into his own room. he let go of his hand and crashed into the bed with a sigh. he rolled over and looked at richie lovingly.
"eds, what're you doing?" richie asked, staring at his.. best friend?
"chee, i wanna cuddle." he said sternly, but he couldn't keep a straight face as he began to giggle.
"okay, if that's what you want, princess," he replied, walking over to his bed, laying down, and wrapping his arms around the small boy. they faced each other.
eddie's eyes seemed to search for something. he seemed to be on the hunt for the answer that was supposedly buried in the color of richie's iris.
his breathing was loud as the question popped swiftly out of his mouth.
"do you wanna be my boyfriend?"
richie tapped his chin, like he was deep in thought. eddie made a face that looked midly offended.
"hey now, don't get you panties in a twist. of course i wanna be your boyfriend, eds." richie said.
eddie let out a breath he didn't know he had been holding. he hugged his best fri- er, boyfriend.
richie kissed eddie's forehead, "i love you, eds."
"i love you too, chee."
ayy that's the end of "you belong with me" i probably would've made it longer, but i really disliked my writing in this. i barely had any idea where the story was going because i didn't plan anything out, but im still a bit proud. im probably gonna make another reddie book. I already have an idea for one, so expect that soon. but for right now, im gonna be focusing on my new stenbrough book and some oneshots. I might do an epilogue for this, so if u guys want that, pls tell me! thank you for reading the shit show that was "you belong with me"!
