It was bigger than any room Lola had ever seen. Inside there was a lot of machinery, large cog wheels loudly rolled with each other, large buckets came to and from a hole in the ground to bring up what looked like blue shards of blue crystal.
But throughout the whole place were giant ugly creatures, their skin was green, what looked like barnacles grew from their skin, every movement made by them let off green dust from their skin, the only thing keeping them clothed were these brown pieces of cloths wrapped around their waist.
Trolls...
They were everywhere.
Some were holding thick chains and pulling them back and forth or were being forced to push something around in a never ending circle. Dark Angels popped up here and there, sometimes flying around to different levels of the room and some just glaring at the trolls as they worked.
Lola gasped as she somewhat closed the door so her eye would be the only thing seen.
Several of the Dark Angels continued to laugh to one another as they either played jokes on one of the trolls or screeched at one of them for being too slow and shocking them.
She was about to close the door and leave when she heard talking coming from the hallways. Lola went wide eyed as she opened the door and slipped through and hid behind one of the machines. She poked her head out the side as she looked around for a more stable place to hide.
Within seconds Lola was getting cornered with one Dark Angel coming from behind and another coming from the door. Lola went wide eyed as she practically jumped onto the machine, it was mainly made of large cogs. Lola hoped onto the gap in between the cogs and went from one side of it, to another and fell back on it again.
Lola looked up and watched as another was about to interlock with it. Lola went wide eyed as she jumped out of the cog and landed on another. She started climbing up it, now about ten metres in the air as it continued to spin; Lola did everything she could to keep herself from falling to the ground as she was slowly spun upside down. Lola's fingertips slipped from the cog and she fell and landed hard on some sort of metal box.
Lola, bewildered, rolled onto her back and sat up as she looked around, she was in plain view. She didn't give anybody a chance to see her as she jumped off the metal box and raced across the floor she was on.
Lola was in plain view the whole time as she continued running to places to hide. All around her, Dark Angels were either casually walking or flying around. Lola even had to hide behind some of the trolls who were pushing heavy equipment. They reeked of century old BO and reminded her of an old, dirty pond as she walked beside them, Lola was glad she hadn't eaten in a long time, otherwise she would've thrown up like a fire hose.
She retreated from her hiding spot when the Dark Angels were out of view. She walked to the nearest door and was quick to open it while she could. It was almost as heavy as the first door.
But Lola wasn't planning on staying in that room, she wanted to get out of the room altogether. She saw some Dark Angels stalking in her direction; she managed to squeeze through the door and peered out as the Dark Angels walked by.
She sighed with relief as she pushed the door softly to walk out.
But something grabbed her from behind.
Something big, huge even! They're chubby fingers were about the same size as Lola's body.
They were barely just pinching the back of her clothes. Whatever grabbed her let her go and she attempted to run away again. Then they re-gripped her and dragged her back, forcing her to fall over and hit the ground and continue to get dragged along the ground.
