Yare Yare Mariko! Arc 1 The High-School Life of Mariko Nagato

Chapter 6

When the weekend has arrived after all the hard work in School, Mariko's most favorite thing to do over the weekend was going out with her friends and even Daiki. They were at a festival, wearing Kimonos, except Daiki and Kazuya were wearing Monsuke. "I've never been to any festivals before, but, let's see how much fun we can have here." Daiki said as he and Mariko began holding hands, checking around to see if there was anything good for them. "So, um, Mariko.. Not to be nosy or anything, but, have you checked out your grades?" Daiki asked. "Yeah. I got all A's." Mariko replied. "That's very impressive Mariko-Sama. I'm real proud of you." Daiki replied back with a smile. "For me, I got B's and A's." Daiki added. "We must be very good with our schoolwork alright." Mariko began to say. "We sure are." Daiki replied. As they kept checking around to see if there was anything good for them. Suddenly, Mariko's stomach started grumbling. "You hungry, Mariko-Sama?" Daiki asked. "Festivals make me go hungry, so yeah." Mariko replied. So, they went up to one of the food places in the festival. Mariko looked at the list of foods. "I'll take a Taiyaki, please." Mariko said as she paid the employee some yen and as the employee gave her Taiyaki.

Mariko and Daiki both sat at one of the tables as Mariko began eating her Taiyaki. As soon as she finished eating her Taiyaki, she and Daiki Yagimuyoko continued walking around the festival. "I wonder if they allow music here?" Daiki wondered. "Reason was because I was thinking maybe you and I can dance." Daiki added. "That be very fun to do." Mariko replied, giggling. As time kept flying by, they saw the sunset. "I just love watching the sunset like I always do." Mariko said with a smile. "Me, too, Mariko-Sama. Me too." Daiki replied, smiling. As they keep on looking at the sunset, Daiki tightly wrapped his arms around Mariko's waist as Mariko wrapped her arms around him. Suddenly, as the sun started going down even more, they began to kiss each other as usual. "I love you, Daiki-Kun." Mariko said. "I love you, too, Mariko-Sama." Daiki replied as the two began watching the fireworks that were flying up in the sky. "And it's also fun to see the fireworks, too." Mariko said as they kept watching. Finally, they saw a firework that had the Mariko X Daiki OTP 4Ever. "That firework looked so amazing!" Daiki said after seeing that firework. "I wonder who came up with that I wonder?" Daiki added, wondering. Apparently, Gyuka and Rina came up to them.

"We figured we do that firework just to appreciate the both of you." Gyuka said. "Yeah." Rina added. "Aww thanks guys." Mariko replied. "After all, you two sure know how to keep it up." Rina said as she started laughing. The next day, on the second weekend, Mariko and Daiki were on her laptop, watching Anime on Dailymotion. "I've been thinking If we can go to a cosplay convention, we should cosplay as Baxter and Princess Denise from the Super Baxter franchise." Mariko said as that idea came to her. "That would sound like a lot of fun." Daiki replied. Half and hour later, after watching anime, they started taking selfies on her laptop and posting it up on Facebook. Finally, some of Mariko's friends, Wariko, Walekki and Bakstere came over for a visit. Some of Lekki's friends, Sonaka Irahako, Taiko Matsuakabe, and Gisutara came over as well for a visit, too. "Since Mariko-Chan has met Bakstere's sister, Gisutara, I'd like to introduce the two of my friends, Sonaka and Taiko." Lekki said, introducing the two guests. "Pleasure to meet you, Mariko-Chan." Sonaka said. "I hear you and Daiki are really great dancers in Hajikoru High School." Sonaka added. "It's such a pleasure to meet you as well, you two." Mariko replied back. "I have seen a video of you and Daiki dancing."

Taiko said. "You two looked so amazing dancing like that." Taiko added. "Thank you, Taiko." Daiki and Mariko said at the same time. "Is it just me? Or does this actually feel more like a party in here?" Gyuka wondered. "We figured since our crushes and friends are with us, it feels more like a chat room in here." Lekki replied. "Well, since there is nothing else for us to do as of right now, wanna see how impressive Daiki and I can dance?" Mariko asked. "We love that!" everybody else in the room said as Mariko started playing her music as she and Daiki danced just like how they did in the auditorium that one time. A Few minutes later after the music was finished and after they finished dancing, everyone applauded. "Both of you do such a really great job!" Wariko said with a smile and a compliment. "Thank you very much." Mariko replied as she and Daiki bowed down. "Totally nailed it!" Sonaka complimented. "If only If I had a guy like that, I'd do the Cinderella dancing one." Sonaka added. "Speaking of which, Sonaka-San, aren't there any guys you like in Hajikoru High School?" Mariko asked. "Well, not exactly, because there's this dumbass weirdo who sounds like a 7th grader..." Sonaka said, explaining what she had remembered about the boy.

"Was it a freshman?" Walekki asked. "Well, yeah." Sonaka replied. "What has he been doing to you to make you not like any guy?" Wariko asked as well. "For example, when waiting in line at the cafeteria, he poked onto my backside on purpose. As everyone witnessed this, I got so pissed off and embarrassed and got away." Sonaka said, including every detail she had remembered. "Did he apologize for that?" Bakstere asked. "Yeah, but, I told him not to go near me ever again." Sonaka replied. "Then, the next day, I was chilling by myself, waiting on Taiko to arrive, the same boy came up to me and asked me out on a date with him. I told him that I have no interest in being with younger dudes like him. I prefer ones who are badasses." Sonaka said, adding in what she remembered. "You only prefer ones who are badasses?" Bakstere asked with a big shock. "Yup, I do." Sonaka replied. "Good luck finding a bad boy you love since you prefer the badass dudes." Wariko said with that sweatdrop. "Did you find out who this boy is?" Gisutara asked. "I found out his name. Amiru Roppiyakuda." Sonaka replied. "What I know about him is he's a freshman, never gets into fights and likes to screw with me." Sonaka added.
