The Tipton Hotel was hosting an annual banquet in honour of their hard earned success. It had to be perfect, Mr. Tipton accepted the invitation as well as other important guests. Only two days of preparation left and Mr. Moseby was stressed.
"How will I possibly get everything prepared on time?"
Mr. Moseby groaned clenching at his pocket hanky. Just as he was distracted in his files and paperwork he could hear the loud thuds coming from the upper floor, the loud thuds shook the floor as Mr. Moseby was trying to concentrate on his work. Just then he could hear dishes clattering and crashing, people shrieking, and doors slamming, as well the sound of Arwin's shrieking.
"Zack, Cody..." Mr. Moseby hissed under his breath.
Mr. Moseby chased them into the lobby yelling for them to stop.
"ZACK! CODY! NO RUNNING IN MY LOBBY!"
"No problemo Marion!" Zack teased shaking off the blonde helmet hair from his face.
"You don't call me that Zack, you call me Mr. Moseby clear?"
"Crystal." Cody interrupted dragging Zack away from Mr. Moseby. Marion rolled his eyes and took a deep breath trying to relax his mind.
"Oh so much to do, so little time."
Later that evening, Arwin stopped by in Marion's office. Marion heard the knock as he was focused on his work. He made a displeased sigh lifting himself from his swivel chair carrying paperwork to the photocopier. The knock came again this time more urgently and the knob began to twist.
"Okay! Come in, make this quick I have a ton of work." Marion shouted. Arwin entered struggling to get one of his inventions to fit through the door.
"Oh c'mon Arwin I don't have time for this!"
"No no Mr. Moseby! Trust me on this, it took me awhile to build it. Turns out all I needed was at tsp of salsa and elastic bands! But it's complete." Arwin lifted the tarp over his invention revealing a metal vacuum cleaner with a toaster attached to the top. Marion raised an eyebrow, staring at the invention then returning the look to Arwin.
"So what do you think?" Arwin squealed eager for Marion's opinion. "Well... What does it do exactly?"
"Well..." Arwin explained. "It makes people attracted to you! You see first you take a whiff of the vacuum cleaner and the toaster predicts if he or she is attracted to you due to inhaling the vacuum odour."
"I haven't given it a name yet, want to help?" Arwin offered. "NO NO! Don't you see I have work to get to! Now out!" Marion snapped returning to his desk.
"I thought it would come to use, especially for you because after all... I know." Arwin quietly spoke under his breath. Marion tilted his head up and gave a look to Arwin in curiosity.
"What are you talking about Arwin? Know what?"
"Haha oh I'm just kidding, I don't know. Why is there something I should know Mr. Moseby?" Arwin teased. "I bet I could find out! But for now I need to show Zack and Cody my little love machine! Later Mr. Moseby!"
"Okay whatever! I'm really busy so shoo!" Marion demanded trying to clear his head. Arwin left his office closing the door behind him. Marion immediately left his seat to peek outside his office in case Arwin was close by.
"He can't find out, no one can. One day you will be mine." Marion teared up gazing at a picture frame he hides in his locked desk drawer. Placing a kiss on the picture and scrubbing off the lip marks with his pocket hanky.
