CH 4 Annabeths Potion

( Third p.o.v )

Everyone slept peacefully except the sins. Percy and Luke had stayed up preparing their plan. Wrath had taken out two vials of blood for the two of them. They would swallow these an hour before to kill the poison Annabeth was gonna give them. Unfortunately, they had to take a vial of blood from Luke for himself. Wraths blood will start to hurt Greed after being in him too long. So taking his own blood will cure Wraths blood so he won't die. Finally around three in the morning they were able to go to sleep.

Last night took awhile but its gonna be worth it. We have done this before so I'm not worried. We even made devices that will inject Wraths blood an hour before we swallow the poison. Then in an hour, another device will inject me with a second vial. That second vial is filled with my blood it will cancel out Wraths blood curing me. Later today is gonna be wild.

It was now ten in the morning Wrath woke me up and we made breakfast for the couple before we leave. Once we finished I went to go get them. I knocked on the door until I heard a groan. "Goodmorning guys we made breakfast and we wanted y'all to join." "Morning Luke we'll be down in five Thanks, " said Annabeth. Leo just groaned once more so I left letting them be.

I got to thinking as I went down to eat. How the hell will I know to inject myself with the blood? I know Percy said to think about it but what is the tell sign.
I sat next to Percy and whispered my question to him. "Really Greed I told you last night they will most like put in a drink and offer it. They only have waters packed in their bag now along with a can of beans, " Percy whispered. "Oh ok, " I said realizing. "Morning guys. What are you talking about?" interrupted Leo. 

They caught me by surprise, " Huh what oh um, " I stuttered. "It was just an inside joke. He's just a bit jumpy after having orange juice, " Wrath said saving my hide. "Hey, " I whined. "Well, it's true, " Wrath stated. I just huffed knowing he's right. "Well anyways what the plan for the day?" asked Annabeth. "Well after we eat and start hiking we should be there by three, " said Wrath. "Then will stop before entering to plan once more, " I added in. "Sounds great," smiled Annabeth. They sat down to eat real quick as Wrath continued talking to me through our minds.

Wrath: Call Scout and have him watch them. When they put the stuff in the water have him tell you.

Greed: Ok sounds good I'll summon him and tell him what's going on.

Wrath: Good now just don't get jumpy again.

Greed: You got it, boss.

Wrath groaned after I called him boss. "Excuse me I'm going to check to see if the coast is clear." "Be careful Greed, " said Annabeth. I nodded as I left the room to leave the tent. Once I was outside I called Scout through our connection. "Scout don't make yourself be seen. We are gonna play along with the people we are with. They are gonna try and control us through a potion. I need you to tell me when they are getting it ready." I knew he wasn't around yet but I also knew he understood me.

"We are ready to go, " said Leo. We had already packed up to begin our walk. Wrath and I took the lead starting the journey. I could sense Scout wasn't too far hiding in plain sight. I gave Wrath a look and he just nodded understanding. Waiting was going to suck since we had to walk for five hours. I hate that I still have ADHD it makes things suck sometimes. I felt scouts ear twitch after about five minutes after my ADHD had kicked in.

My eyes went wide. Are they really already trying to drug us. I kept looking forward so they could see me talk. I barely opened my mouth you would need super hearing of our level to listen in, " Scout was that twitch the signal." His same ear twitched once more. "Ok got it." I looked at Wrath who heard everything. Wrath eyes said everything for him. I turned to the couple, " How about we jog it so we get there faster?"
The two looked at each other then nodded. "Great let's go," said Wrath.

We had jogged for about two hours. We injected ourselves about an hour ago, to be ready for the potion. "Greed are you guys thirsty?" offered Annabeth. "Yes, actually that would be great." She handed us two glass bottles of water as I felt Scouts ear twitch. We now knew we were drinking the potions. We chugged them down as Leo and Annabeth sipped there's. They had smiles on their faces as we pretended to pass out.

An hour went by when I pretended to wake to a concerned Annabeth. "Luke are you ok?" I hated that she used my name but went along as planned," Yes I'm good must of pushed my self to hard." Wrath was still on the floor. "What happened to Wrath?" I questioned. "He's fine just taking a nap.  Wrath get up Luke is up, " she said. Wraths eyes opened and he sat up looking at me. "You alright Greed?" he asked. I shook my head yes at him. "Great its time to go we are gonna jog again and head in the desert. Ok?" Annabeth kind of ordered. "Sure thing Annabeth let's go, " Wrath said getting up. He offered a hand so I took it and followed suit.

We jogged up front but we could still hear the two of them talk. "Do you think it worked?" asked Leo. "I'm sure it did. Will really put it to the test when we get there, " said Annabeth. "What do you have in mind?" Leo asked. "They are gonna capture Gluttony and force him to listen to us before we make it back to the house. By the time we leave, I want to be in control of the sins." Wrath and I could only say one thing to each other through the mind link.
