"What was he even thinking when he called?" I'm at my parents house and dad is furious, he got a call from Drake telling him about the dinner and I know my dad, stubborn.

"I have no idea, what have you told him exactly?" I said

"I refused of course" he looked at me like I was crazy. "but you know what, he surprised me I spent the whole phone call shouting and he was so calm, this man is weird"

"He is" I remembered how everytime we argue or I annoy him he tried to stay cool. "Listen dad, I know what you are saying is slightly true but why are you so against going? I see no problem in that" I added.

"Are you serious Hazel? after all he's done?" He said now with a lower tone

"Exactly, that's it! he didn't force me to marry Dominic for no reason right? he did it for something," from the look on his face I now know my work is halfway done. "and aren't you curious to know what is all about this man? because I am" I continued.

"She is right David" finally my mom said something and it's helpful

"She is, but I'm still not sure"

"Ohhh, come on why do you have to be that stubborn!"

"Says the one who is even more!!" am I really doing this with my dad? ugh.

I have to find a way to persue him and trust me that's the last time I'm going to try, if he didn't respond ... well then I guess it's Drake's problem, not mine.

"Okay listen, don't you love me and want what's the best for me? because that's what you always say"

"Yes I do"

"Then you should go to that stupid dinner" straight and forward, that's how I do it.

"Oh come on Hazel!" I didn't know my father was whiney but I kept looking at him, more like glaring not even blinking once.

"Okay you got it" he said after a few moments which felt like hours and sighed. "but I swear if he did something to annoy me or anything close to that I'll blow his head up" he added.

"Yaay I knew you would give up your stubbornness at last!" I'm literally jumping right now. "and about blowing his head, you got that and I'll be glad to help too" I said not sure if I'd really help.

"You two shouldn't have those type of arguments anymore, we all know who'll win at last" my mom said winking at me

"Duhh" I said,

"You and your sneaky ways" dad said shaking his head

"That's me" I smirked at him,

I win.

Later at evening, after I went to collage and to my parents I decided that I should see my friends ... more like need to. So we went out for dinner.

"So you're telling me the crazy father in law asked your father to dinner and he said ... ?" Rose asked

"He said yes" I answered.

"Stubborn David said yes to a thing he's against? well that's a first" said Emma with a laugh at the end. yes they can get suprised but I convinced him and it feels so good.

"I got my ways" I said smiling at them.

"Damn I'm so full" said Emma with her hand on her belly
