school days

Chapter 3

"Hey Harry, haven't seen you in awhile not since a couple weeks ago.", Hermione said. "Yeah Harry been hanging with Cedric I guess.", chimed Ron. "So it's our freshman year eh isn't this jazzy. Anyways I looked at your schedule Harry and you don't have any classes with me just all of them with Hermione because you guys are "smart".", Ron said sarcastically.

The bell was seconds from ringing so Ron quickly said that they should hang out after school at the arcade as Hermione and Harry rushed to class. First period went by quickly with math then reading, English, science, gym, history, enrichment, and art. Soon enough the day was over as the last bell rung for the day. Ron waited by Harry's locker so they could walk together to the arcade.

"So how was your summer, how's Cedric I haven't seen him in awhile.", said Ron walking shoulder to shoulder with Harry.

Harry put his head down a bit mumbling how both were fine and everything was fine. He started to recall all that had happened this summer, getting lost in thought and feeling down on himself once more.

"Woah man are you ok you seem massively depressed just out of no where.", Ron said. "No I'm fine Ron sorry I was just...sad you know because we didn't hang much and all.", Harry said suspiciously.

They kept walking, eventually getting there and spending the afternoon having fun and not bringing the topic up again, even though Ron knew for a fact something must have happened.

This summer, Harry had finally told Cedric how he felt.

"Cedric I wanted to talk to you about something, please I need help and I don't know what to do.", Harry crying confused and sad. Cedric had just gotten done wrestling with Harry on the floor in the basement, they were having a sleepover as usual and it had just become summer break. "Harry tell me what's wrong."

Harry paused for what felt like hours tears rolling down his face. "Why is everything so hard why can't it be simple, why can't I change.", Harry mumbling to himself. Cedric grabbed him by the shoulders trying to shake him out of it. Harry looked at Cedric with his already puffy eyes. "Cedric I like you...I like you like I wanna be with you like a girl, only you I can't think of anyone else in that light Cedric please help is there something wrong.", Harry crying at this point. "Cedric looked stern for a second.

"Harry you are just confused you don't like me like that."

"But I do I love you Cedric!", Harry cried.

"No you don't! You don't know what you're feeling or saying so I'll forgive you and we can move on from this!"

Cedric then got up and went up stairs leaving Harry to his thoughts.
