Jake's POV

I really wanted to make this birthday special. I'm really in love with her. I could never dream of being with anyone else, shes my Mex!

She's so pretty and intelligent and she has the best personality ever. When people see us blokes give me that look, the look that says 'how did he pull her?' I wonder that myself sometimes!

End of Jake's POV

We had been here a day it was so nice, and the weather was lush! We were going out to the club house tonight, they had an oasis tribute band on and Jimmy had seen them here before and in his words they were 'proppa descent'.

Imogen spent hours on the phone to the boy she likes. She always askes me what I think of him. If I'm honest Alfie was a arsehole, he was just a player and he thought every girl he looked at would fall for him. And Imogen fell for it! 

Jake was still asleep so me, Imogen and Jimmy went over to the club house to see if we could get him a slot to sing on one of the nights. Jake is an amazing singer but slightly shy when it comes to performing so we are hoping this will help him. They wanted to see how he performed so we showed him the videos on our phones and the man was in his words 'amazing I've never herd a singer that is so amazing and so young! of course he can perform! is tomorrow to soon?'

We were so happy we'd never been so proud of ourselves! We just had to tell Jake now!

5 hours later

We just arrived at the clubhouse to see the oasis tribute band they were amazing they did 11 songs. Everyone was singing along the atmosphere was amazing. Jake was having such a good time and said it about thirty times so he really ment it.

We hadn't told Jake about his set tomorrow yet. We didn't know how to tell him, sometimes he is hard to read. We planned to tell him tomorrow morning or when we got in.

There set had finished and the club owner came on stage looking at us and then to our horror announced that Jake would be performing tomorrow and we hadn't even told him ourselves!
