"Hey Y/N, have you heard about","No Debbie," you cut her off, "I don't wanna hear about your gossips now shoo I need to study." You grunt and turned away from Debbie, your best friend since primary school. The library was very quiet as usual and you tried your best not to scream at her to leave you alone.
I have to ace this year's exam, it's the only way I'd get a scholarship and a higher chance of getting into a good college. You think to yourself.
"Y/N, Y/N! Hear me out!" said Debbie practically whisper-screamed, "OK WHAT IS IT NOW" you said, the only way to shut her up is to listen.
"I overheard Mrs. Holly talking to Principal Jon about a transfer student from Korea!!!" Debbie said excitedly,
"Mrs. Holly? That means he'll be in our class?" you asked, "YASSS Oh my gawd! Do you think he'll be hot? I see ALOT of Korean guys who look like a freaking model, like that one guy from BTS, ugh what's his name again?..."
You stopped hearing to Debbie's endless talk about boys and got lost in your own head space,
Oof a Korean transfer student? That's pretty weird and unlikely. We rarely got international transfer students since forever! I wonder who is it...
"Y/N are you listening to me?" Debbie frowned,"Nope and I'm never going to," you smirked while standing up and walking away.
Your friendship with Debbie is all fun and games. You both always joked with each other and never really got into a fight, mainly it's because Debbie understands you alot. She's a great friend who enjoys listening to gossips and most importantly listening to your problems.
School ends and you walked home, Debbie usually accompany you everytime but today was a little different, she got a urgent call from her mom telling her to go straight home after school.
As you were walking home you saw a boy calling for an uber. He doesn't look like he's from around here and you immediately thought. That's the new transfer student.
You look at him up and down and thought, he has a weird but cool sense of fashion...
He's wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, a red hat that has "BUSAN BIT-H" written on it, a matching pair of baggy jeans, a bag sling over his shoulder and a pair of pumas . He looked up and caught you staring at him. You turned away quickly and without any hesitation you continue walking home.
Did he by any chance saw me staring at him? OK calm down y/n, I'm pretty sure alot of people stared at him so he's not gonna remember my not-so-special face. You thought.
