"Oh, c'mon Rog. You won't be complaining for long, I promise." Brian promised, holding Roger's elbow. Roger turned away.

"Bri, I'm so tired! We've been out all day. Can't we just relax and go to bed?" Roger pleaded, pouting. Brian took hold of both of Roger's hands.

"Please, Rog? I promise you'll be relaxed, I even have candles. Also, I promise no funny business." He said genuinely. "I planned this whole thing out for you. I'll have to wait until the stars are in the right position to do this again." Brian persuaded. Roger smiled slightly. He loved how much thought and consideration Brian put into everything.

"Alright, Bri. But as soon as we're done, we're done. Straight to bed." He agreed. Brian beamed and kissed him on the forehead.

"Roger, you're going to love this."

"I can attest to that, you will love it, Roger. Brian took me for a test run." Freddie teased. He could practically hear Roger scowl.

"Watch it, Freddie." Roger called back. Freddie snickered to himself. Brian took both of Roger's hands, then kissed his forehead.

"I hope you're as excited as I am." Brian said with a big smile. Roger smiled back.

"Yes, sure," He responded with a faint chuckle. "You and your stars." Brian stood up fully and took Roger through the living room, grabbing the basket he'd made and walked into the kitchen.

"Alright, we'll be back when Roger gets too tired." Brian said to Freddie and John, Roger at his arm. Roger nodded.

"Or if I get too bored with this nerd," Roger teased, poking Brian in the side. Brian flinched.

"Alright, lovebirds, go on your space date." Freddie badgered. John didn't say anything, being too lost in thought. Roger rolled his eyes.

"Sure, mom. We'll be home before curfew." He ribbed back. Freddie rolled his eyes as Brian led himself and Roger out the door.

"Okay, so, it's quite a long story to how I figured this whole thing out. I'd been asking around earlier at the interviews about where to take someone, everyone assumed it was some girl, I'd almost laughed, anyways...I asked about where to take someone if I wanted to go stargazing," Roger's head shot up. Brian chuckled. "Yeah, stargazing. Right now it's the perfect time for it. Middle of summer is usually when you want to do it because there are usually not as many clouds plus it's comfortable weather. I mean, I suppose you could stargaze through a skylight, but that's not fun. I do like skylights, though. Skylights and windows are much better than artificial light, especially for human health. See, there's a difference between natural light and artificial light, though you're very smart, Roger, and I'm sure you know that. It's the same way that plants can only benefit and break down glucose through sunlight or artificial lights that resemble natural sunlight. Anyways-"

"Bri?"

"Yes?" Brian paused. Roger covered his hand with his mouth, stifling a laugh.

"Do you know where we're going?" A light bulb went off above Brian's head.

"Oh, yes, of course! Just to the backyard." He explained, taking Roger's hand. Roger had a smile permanently plastered on his face. The pair walked around the back of the house and made it to their backyard which was surrounded by a little forest. Roger looked up and gasped.

"Brian, this is beautiful." Brian smiled brightly.

"We haven't reached our destination yet, Rog." He said excitedly, with a hint of adoration in his voice. Roger turned to look at him, and Brian swore he'd never seen anything as beautiful. Roger's brows furrowed.
