The terrifying awakening

That morning Jackline woke up to a dogs bark. She saw a flash light shining from on top of the bridge, with red and blue lights. She knew her father came looking for her with other officers. She grabbed her bag and stood terrified. Being to early for light, she hoped the darkness of the early morning would conceal her. Once an officer got down to check where she was, she bolted the other way. They fallowed her, dogs on her trail and all. She turned into every alley she saw, and jumped every fence she could. She didn't want to go back, so she kept running. She eventually cornered herself in an alleyway. She fell to the ground in defeat as she accepted her fate, holding her backpack close to her chest.
