Volume 6 - What Would Have Been

I know that a majority of you people miss this book, so for old times sake, I might as well do a piece, in what Volume 6 would have looked like, at the very least. So without further ado, here's the book.

Everyone angrily stared at Ozpin, save for Y/n, whose eyes were covering his hair, as his breathing started to get erratic.

Y/n: ...So you mean to tell me, that this...this "harbinger" of Remnant's doom, is me, having been reincarnated from a creature of Grimm?!

Ozpin: ...I-

Y/n: If you could have told me sooner, I mean- yes I would have freaked out, but I would have let it sink in! And so you keep this from us, hoping what, that I won't suddenly lose my shit and kill everyone?!

Ruby: Professor... (Oz looks up at her) What is your plan to defeat Salem?

Ozpin: I... don't have one...

Suddenly, Qrow punches Ozpin in the face, sending him into a nearby tree trunk.

Qrow: No one wanted me... I was cursed... I gave my life to you because you gave me a place in this world... I thought I was finally doing some good...

Ozpin: (tearfully) But, you are!

Qrow: Meeting you... was the worst luck of my life...

Oz stares back in disbelief upon hearing Qrow say that, before looking down dejected.

Ozpin: Maybe you're right...

Ozpin's eyes glow as control is transferred back to Oscar Pine. He holds his cheek in pain from the effects of Qrow's punch.

Ruby: What happened?

Oscar: He's... gone.

Yang: That bastard! Tell him we're not done yet!

Oscar: No, this is different. He's gone. It-- It's like he's locked himself deep inside my head. Our head? (grunts as he holds his head in pain) I hate this! I want it to stop!

Y/n reaches out to Oscar to help him up, but stops, as he notices that his fingers are bending in awry angles, and the snapping of bones is evident, as it is suddenly felt in his back, as he drops to the floor on his knees, writhing in pain.

Oscar: (worried) W-What's happening?!

Y/n: What's going on, is that you need to run.

Oscar: But-

Y/n: (demonically) AlL oF yOu. Go, NoW, I wOn'T rEpEaT mYsElF- AAGH!!

Y/n suddenly tore off his cloak/hood, as his malforming back is clearly evident, as he lets out an agonizing scream, as everyone backs up.

Oscar backs up to Team RWBY, as they watch Y/n clutch his eyes, as they begin to leak blood.

Not moments after, his eyes come popping out of their sockets, mortifying them.

Qrow: (shocked) Son of a-

Blake: (tearfully) W-What's happening to him?!

They continued to watch, as Y/n looked up, his eyes having been replaced with black sclera and red irises, with bloodshot crimson veins, that snake down onto his face.

Ruby: (whispering in fear) A-Are those-

Yang: ...Salem's eyes...

He looked down at his hand, and saw that a claw was tearing through his hand, causing him to whimper put in pain, on the verge of tears, if so.

He would curl his hand into a fist, and then slam it into the ground, a morbid crunching sound emitting from it as a result, as he groaned out in agony.

Everyone watched, as he looked up at them, and so his back started to tear apart, with black fur seen in the holes of his skin.

Another thing they noted, was that his groaning had started to be replaced with growling and snarling, which was horrifyingly identical to a Beowolf's.

Weiss: (terrified) W-We have to help him!

Oscar: It's the least we could do!

Qrow: I...

They looked towards Y/n, who was now clawing his face off, literally, as bone-like material started to protrude from him, mainly on his back, where spikes sprouted out, which caused the boy to be in excruciating to agony, as bloody tears rolled down his cheeks.

Moments after, wolf canines started to sprout from his teeth, his formers popping out onto the floor, much to everyone's disgust.

There, the most horrifying part came, where a Beowolf's snout started to tear through, ripping its way out of his face, as his flesh just tore and landed onto the floor.

It was at last, that Y/n's transformation had completed, and standing in bis place, was a normal-sized Beowolf, yet there were some key differences.

Firstly, the eyes were identical to that of Salems, being black and red. The second was that crimson veins were situated all over his body. And finally, he had bone horns sprouting from his mask, similar to that of a goat.

Blake: Y-Y/n...?

Said beast looked up towards Blake, and prowled towards her, standing up, at about 8 feet tall, and so he started to sniff at her, confusing everyone.

It wasn't until he pulled back and bore his canines, snarling at her, was when they realised that one of their own had become a monster- no, had become...
