Newt had never been so scared in his life. He,Theseus and some other aurors that stayed to protect the innocents from Grindelwald's attack. His heart was being tormented as he saw Tina fleeing away with them, the fear in her eyes made his anger towards the criminal grow. He never thought he'd never have an attachment to women ever since Leta. And when Leta and his connections cut off, he was fortunate to meet an amazing woman like Tina. She was the only thing that seemed like the only thing that mattered in his world. Seeing Tina happy would be enough for him, but if she was hurt he would fight any demon that crawled out of hell for her. And that's the same anger he had for Grindelwald.

"Newt! Go! Help the survivors!" His brother yelled as he tried rushing out the last people who survived. He hesitantly nodded as he grabbed his case and led the way for the rest.

Newt thought about Tina's safety constantly as he guided the injured through the ruined buildings. He wondered if she was hurt. If she was even alive, his faith was straining so was his doubt. Why would he even care?

She's just a friend He thought

Albeit, he didn't think of his friends so fondly like he thought of Tina. He didn't feel this sort of affection for Leta Lestrange. If he did why did he let her marry his brother, Tina was very different. She had a specific place in his heart. As he bid her farewell on the docks of New York, he didn't understand why he was crying just to say good bye. And now he was terrified to say good bye to her forever.

He could hear yelling in the distance, Newt went into a sprint. He made sharp turns before he reached an old and burning manor.

No...

Grindelwald planned this. Grindelwald knew that they would back out so he attacked their destination. Tina.

"Go Back! Tell them his followers are here! Evacuate the area!" He yelled to the survivors. They quickly fled leaving Newt alone to deal with the burning house. He made his way to the entrance to see people flooding out. He quickly noticed wisps of blonde hair pass by, did she start the fire? Why would Queenie do such a thing?

"Newt!" Abernathy cried out to him. He ran over to the British man. His face was beaded with sweat and his coat was slightly burnt. The urgency in his eyes concerned Newt, he knew something went  wrong.

"Abernathy what happened?"  He asked with a calm stern voice. His gaze softened.

"A woman- she came in with Grindelwald's followers. She stood outside the barrier- s-she- she lit the entire face on fire and did it with a smile." He whimpered. The poor man couldn't even finished his sentences properly.

"Its alright Abernathy, you're fine now. Is anybody still in the manor?" He asked

"I think there's a few people left. Someone went in to save the rest but they haven't came back yet"He replied. Newt nodded as he removed his grey coat. He handed it to Abernathy who looked at him with surprise. He gave him a definite nod as Newt rushed into the fire.

The smoke clouded his vision, it pricked his eyes and made them swell. He knew he wouldn't die by the fire instead by the asphyxiation if he didn't get out in time. He quickly made his way down into the cellar to see a sight that petrified him. He saw mop of black hair underneath a large shelf board. She looked to be dead or dying, he attempted to make his way to her avoiding the burning pieces of wood that blocked his path. He was at her side to see her struggling to breathe. He carried her bridal style, shielding her body from chunks of flaming wood that tried to hit her. Her face was dirtied with ash and blood dipped from her temple. He prayed to any god out there that she would live.

Tina's lungs  were failing her. She struggled to breathe. Was this really how she was going to die. Powerless, alone and betrayed. Betrayed to her own sister.

Incendio

How? How could someone be so unforgivable. Her own blood, her own sister. There wasn't even a look of regret on her face. Now she was truely alone. All sorts of pain was hitting Tina. This seemed like the worst death possible. But even so through all the pain she never felt so hurt. She felt guilty aswell.

What would Newt feel?

She didn't  even have the chance to tell him how she felt. Or how grateful she was for him. In everything he was there for her, he saved her more times that she had. And had gave her so much to live and look up to. Dying here and not apologizing felt worse than the smoke in her lungs. She never wanted this, she never wanted any of this. She never  wanted to hurt Newt, she never wanted to be a ripped family, she never wanted to die like this.

Tina's  eyes shot open when she saw a  blurry figure come down, dodging falling pieces of flaming timber. It knelt down in front of her and lifted the shelf above her. Tins couldn't feel her legs, he carried her gently and rushed out of the cellar. Tina saw a glimpse of her savior before  she passed out. His  gentle feature and calming face made it feel like everything was okay. She felt like she was in Nirvana at peace and happy. She was not going to die today.

(Suggest you play the song) Tina could feel soft covers under her head. She felt breaths of clean air. She moved her head a bit to not feel any pain. She opened her eyes slowly, it was blurry at first then it cleared to she a white room with medical supplies and an IV bag. She turned her head to the side to see a sleeping figure. His head laying down on her bedside. She could feel a smile crawl up her face. He really did save her more times than she ever could. She lifted her hands to feel a massive amount of pain. She flinched and made a loud groaning sound.

Newt's head shot up. When he saw Tina awake relief washed over him.

"Tina, you're okay." He said. He wanted to just say it to her right there. He wanted to hold her and tell her how scared he was. To tell he was sorry and that he loved her. But it just wouldn't come out.

"I'm sorry. I should've got there faster. I should've told you to go somewhere else. Then you wouldn't be hurt. I'm sorry-" Newt looked down to the white covers of the infirmary bed. His eyes felt watery.

He felt a light pat on his head he looked up to see Tina's hand which was swaddled in bandages patting his messy hair. He saw a soft smile on her face, he thought she never looked so beautiful.

"Thank you."
