Intro

Cadence's POV

-as a young filly-

I run through the ever free forest jumping over logs. This was fun! I then see a little filly crying under a tree. I stop running and I walk to the filly,"I'm cadence." I say to the filly. "I-I-I'm Chrysalis ." She said and rubbed her eyes,"why are you here?"

"Well I like to run around the ever free forest, why are you crying?" I asked. "I don't have any friends..." "I can be your friend!" And that's when a nice peaceful friend ship started.

-almost grown mares-

"Chrysalis!" I said running to my friend,"IM A PRINCESS!" Chrysalis jumped up and down with me,"AND GUESS WHAT!" She screamed,"IM THE QUEEN!" We jumped up and down. She bowed to me,"Princess Cadence!" "Queen Chrysalis!" We giggled at the proper names.

-3 hours later-

Chrysalis's POV

"See you tomorrow!" I yelled to Cadence. It felt like just yesterday I met my BFF. She would never betray me! The last friend that betrayed me... Well let's just say I turned evil and she's currently in the hospital...

I ran back to my castle,"Daddy!" I yelled and ran in his room. "Sweetie..." He said weakly,"It is my time..." "Daddy?" I walked up to my dad's bed, "What do u mean???" Tears came into my eyes. "Chrysalis, my beautiful daughter... You must know that I can't stay..." And with that my dad closed his eyes and had one last shallow breath. "Daddy?" I cried and shook my dad, "DADDY?!?" I cried as changeling guards pulled me away.

-the next day-

I pace under the meeting tree waiting for Cadence. Where was she? She said she would come! I start to sob at her betral. I NEEDED her. She'll pay... She'll pay...
