Ella Winslow had a rough home life in Ohio until the beginning of her freshman year. Her older sister Adeline took her in, all the way in North Heights Arizona. Finally away from the harsh realities of her parents constant fighting and nonsense about how to raise a child, she realizes that maybe she can become more. Her first day in town she gets a letter from her new principal asking her to be the freshman princess, an offer she realizes she cannot refuse no matter how much she wants to.
Carson Johnson is the most down to earth Johnson child to ever live in North Heights. He has been predicted (thanks to his older brother), to be North Height Highs' best football player ever. The only Freshman to ever be starting on Varsity, and he is the third Johnson to be on the court for North Heights High but he is humble about it. He is not the typical Johnson kid and it's hard to live up to expectations.
Biana Johnson- Carson's older sister, a junior at NHHS. A dancer who has big promises to make it to Broadway once she finishes high school. She doesn't let anything distract her, not even her duties as princess for the class of 2020.
Adeline Winslow- Ella's older sister, about 22 years old goes to school at ASU. Was a dancer until she realized she would have to make a big sacrifice for Ella to live with her. She still dances when she can but it can't take up to much of her free time as it used to.
Aaron Johnson- Carson's older brother, just turned 21 and is playing college football at ASU. Notices Adeline stopped dancing for some reason at the start of her senior year, wants to know more about why because she was so amazing and clearly loved to dance.
Delia Johnson- Carson's younger sister, a 7th grader at NHMS. A gymnast and a fairly good one at that, she has been predicted to go to the Olympics just like her mother.
