I wake up early the next morning knowing I have more shit to deal with. I do my normal routine, take a five minute shower, get dressed, have breakfast and then life my miserable life. It take me about and hour and then I'm ready to leave.
"Bye dad." I say grabbing my Aeropostale coat, and book bag and of course no reply.
I get in my car and start the engine, this morning was really cold. I pull out of my driveway and drive about 15 minutes to school. Once I get there I have to sign in because you have to pay for parking. I get a parking spot, turn the car off and go into the school. I'm treated okay here, I'm not a popular person but I have just enough friends.
"Katie!" I hear Cameron shout as I start to walk towards him.
"Where's Lacey?" I ask him because she's always where he is.
"She home sick." He replied then we were quiet for a few second until cameron said something.
"Want to skip school?" He asks.
"Really? And what will my father do if he finds out? He won't be happy and the fact that I'm already on his bad side." I say kinda annoyed that Cameron doesn't get it my father would kill me.
"Katie, I'm sorry." He looked ashamed when he said that.
After a while I just decided to go to first period. It went by so slow and it took forever to get to lunch.
"Cameron, wanna go to McDonald's for lunch?" I ask.
"Sure." He says grabbing his wallet. "I'll pay." He says after.
"No my treat." I said, but as always we just end up laughing at our petty little argument. We got back to school 5 minutes before the bell rang.
