Chapter 9

Bella's pov

I wonder what Charlotte meant by "Today is the day." Sounds suspicious to me. Anyways it's third period and it's free and now at least I don't have to worry about bumping into Henry. It's not like he happens to have the same free period as me. Charlotte and I head to my locker cause  I have to drop some of my books in. Anyways we get there I open it and put my books in, close it and only for me to turn around and not see Charlotte here anymore. I mean she was standing right next to me a while ago. We practically walked here together. Still looking confused, suddenly someone taps me in my shoulder, I turn around only for me to see Henry.

Henry's pov
Charlotte and I made a plan. She would quietly sneak away from Bella so that Bella and I could be alone. I quietly walk up behind her and tap her shoulder to get her attention.

Bella's pov

"Hey, Bella."

"Hey Henry, you scared me there."

"Oh, sorry about that."

"No worries, anyways, I have to go."

"She's trying to avoid me but I won't let her so I grab her by her hand and pull her back."

"Hey, Bella why have you been avoiding me since yesterday?"

"No reason Henry, now please let go of my hand I have to go."

"Bella?"

"What?"

"I'm gonna ask again, why have you been avoiding me since yesterday?"

"Why do you care?"

"Cause I do."

"Don't you have a girlfriend to go tend to right now?"

"Girlfriend? I don't have a girlfriend. What makes you think I have a girlfriend?"

"Cause... Charlotte told me."

"Yeah, I did but not anymore and besides Bianca has a boyfriend. Do you have a problem with me having a girlfriend?"

"Um no... Why would I?"

I had to lie cause I didn't want him to know I do have a problem with him having a girlfriend which now I know he doesn't.

"Besides why would I be dating her when I like someone else."

"Really, um who. I'm curious."

"You really wanna know?"

"Yeah"

"You."

"What but I thought..

He cuts me off and smashes his lips on mine and honestly l, it's an amazing feeling and I kissed him back. After some minutes we separated.

"So..."

"Yeah Henry?"

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes I will."

We kissed again and this time it was like the world stood still and I am literally dying inside.
