I can't give out warnings for this fic yet. Because there aren't any! How's that for a change!

This is being co-written with Ayla (LouisTwinklinson), check her out!

This fic will be updated every Wednesday.

Besides that! There are a few things that you guys may want to know. You do NOT have to read this information because it will be explained throughout the story but if you want future knowlage then here it is! Now, I will refer to the notes below but sometimes i MAY forget about things. If you have read this and something in the fic contradicts it then please let me know. I will either change it here, because me and Elsie didn't like it, or change it there because we forgot about it!

I wanted to play with this idea a bit in this fic. This is a copy and paste from some Tumblr page I cannot recall. I may use some of the references but not all.

Nesting

During PHS (pre-heat syndrome) Omegas want to cuddle and be held.  It’s not the same as nesting, but it’s a similar instinct.  During menstruation, omegas like to bundle up in blankets, another similar instinct.

When an embryo implants and the body registers as pregnant, the nesting instincts kick in.  The first phase is to gather up soft and squishy things and create a soft place to sleep.

As the pregnancy gathers one, the omega will put more and more things that smell like their alpha in all their comfy spaces.  The couch, the bed, and their other favorite curling up places.

As things go on, the omega will feel more and more instincts to cook and clean and make a comfy home.

Not every omega has the desire/instincts/talent at cooking and cleaning, and sometimes the nesting instincts surface differently.  Some might want to buy soft blanket and pillow in the store, some might order huge amounts of Chinese food three times a day so they’ll always have their favorite leftovers.

As they get closer and closer to delivery date, the omega feels a compulsion to be surrounded by soft, comfy things, especially those that have their alpha’s scent on them.  Some omegas might empty out a closet and create a blanket nest to sleep in, or commandeer the couch as their territory.

Nesting instinct often makes a pregnant omega uncomfortable with the idea of being away from home for long periods of time.  Running out for errands and such is tolerable, the closer the omega (or beta female)  gets to their due date, the more problem they’ll have being out at work all day, or staying out.  For omegas who travel, the nest is often the vehicle they travel in (For Dean Winchester, his nest would be the Impala or Bobby’s house.  Probably the Impala) or a place they stay a lot.

Omegas far along in their pregnancy don’t like leaving their “nest” and they don’t like strangers being in it.  Family and close friends are okay, but Baby Showers are usually held in a common area, or a friend’s house, because the omega won’t want a lot of strange scents around their “den.”

Ayla actually researched all this, I'm just kind of here writing hi - Elsie x
