Holy Cats pt1

Yugi's POV

[2 weeks later]

I awoke buried under my blanket 《what the!?》 *we're cats again!* +how did this happen?+ <I don't remember anything from yesterday> /neither can I/ 《does anyone remember what happened yesterday?》 <+/*no*/+> 《maybe our friends will know what happened?》 I said as I stared down at the floor 《this is harder than I thought, I'm too tiny. I could easily injure myself even only a foot from the ground》 *well we can't stay here* I sighed before jumping down. I landed on my paws before running outside. I bolted towards the school, listening to my instincts. There sat a small group of cats "Jonouchi, Honda, Anzu, Bakura, Seto, Mokuba, Shadi, Ishizu, Odion, Malik, Pegasus, Weevil, Rex, Duke, and Serenity?!" I squeaked. "I'm guessing none of you remember what happened yesterday?" I questioned. "No" they replied. *I don't trust Rex and Weevil* 《not as far as you can throw them》 <(laughing)> +you do realize that you're much smaller than every cat here+ 《thanks, I hadn't noticed》 I hissed sarcastically. +sorry, I forgot you're sensitive about your height+ 《you would be too if you were much smaller than someone your age》 *everyone is shorter than Kaiba* 《true, he's like 6 feet》 <little prince, Weevil and Rex have scooted closer> I hissed at them "don't think you can sneak up on me! I have four spirits looking out for me!" I growled slapping Weevil who was closest. They hissed before ganging up on me "you're a pathetic little kitten!" Rex growled before scratching my cheek "Gah!" I whimpered as Weevil bit my right ear. I was pinned down on my back "Ahhhhhh!" I screamed. <give me control little prince> I gave control over to Priest Seto. "Who are you calling a kitten!? If you think you can fuck around with my prince then you're dead wrong! Now run before I rip your tails off!" Priest Seto growled before changing his mind and laying down on both of them. They struggled to get free but Priest Seto was the second largest cat next to Malik. Said cat flopped down on Weevil and Rex allowing Priest Seto to give control back to me. "Thanks Priest Seto, Malik" I purred happily. "Oh little cub, your cheek is bleeding" Malik said before turning to Ishizu "can you please tend to him" he requested politely. Ishizu sat on her hunches and pressed a small towel against my cheek. I yelped "sorry little prince, I'm trying to be as gentle as possible" she said sweetly. "When did you start calling me little prince?" I questioned. "Well you're the reincarnation of prince Heba, I still consider you the prince of Egypt even if you're not anymore and even if you don't remember anything from your past life" she replied. I looked up at her "actually, I sorta do remember something from my past life" I said. "You do? What do you remember?" Ishizu asked curious. "I remember becoming the pharaoh's temple after the wind blew down my hood and revealed my appearance" I replied. "That's right, it was against the law to have an appearance similar to the pharaoh, a crime with a death sentence" she said before Kaiba led us all back to his house. I waited patiently as everyone slipped through the dog door. I was the last one into the house, I looked around. All the rooms were closed off to avoid Weevil and Rex snooping around. All the spots in the living room were claimed. I got stuck with Weevil and Rex in a pillow fort. I curled up in the corner of the fort. "Touch me and I'll sick Malik on you!" I warned before falling asleep.

[3:00 am]

I looked around as Priest Seto picked me up after I was dressed in my new clothes and carried me back into the throne room where Pharaoh Atem was waiting. "Did you enjoy your bath Heba?" He asked gently taking me from Seto. "Yes, thank you" I purred happily. Atem smiled "I'm glad little one" he replied. I nuzzled closer to him before yawning. "Tired little one?" Atem asked. I nodded sleepily before he carried me back into his room. I was placed in the bed, I curled up next to Atem "good night my little light" he said. [2 years later] I woke up the next morning as light flooded through the window. I stretched out like a cat, shaking the sleep from me. "Good morning little one" Atem said sweetly. "Good morning aibou" I purred more confident than I was two years ago. "Aibou, I like the sound of that" he purred playfully. I jolted awake as someone smacked my face, it was Weevil. "What do you want?!" I growled angrily. "I can't find Rex" he whimpered. I was instantly on my paws "what?!" I shouted before bolting out of the pillow fort. I yelped as a wall shelf crashed onto me, I heard Weevil and Rex laughing at me. "You're so gullible runt!" They snickered, they each sat on one end of the shelf pinning me down. 《They tricked me!》 I hissed loudly.
