"Where the hell have you been?!" She was still in my arms and she was holding onto me for support with a stupid grin on her face. She smelled of alcohol and she was obviously drunk. But all that mattered to me was the fact she was back and she was actually in my arms.

I couldn't help but pull her in a tight hug and let out a groan of mixed frustration and relief. I buried my face in her neck and breathed her scent in, trying to familiarize myself with it.

"Where the hell have you been?" She mimicked and giggled.

God, it was good to hear her laugh again.

"We gotta get you inside, Sam." She pulled away from my grasp and looked down at herself before returning her gaze on mine.

"But I don't have my keys with me." She stated with a pout. She was about to walk away when she stumbled on her own feet and I've caught her once more making her giggle once again. "Nice catch, Lukey." I rolled my eyes.

"What do you mean you don't have your keys with you? How are you supposed to get inside?" She laughed.

"We wait." She sat down on their front steps and tapped the spot beside her while looking at me expectantly. I sat down beside her as I watched her steadily, still baffled as to how she got back. "You can calm down now, I'm not going anywhere." I shook my head.

"I'm not letting you out of my sight until I know you're safely back inside your own house." She shrugged and hugged her knees closer to her chest.

"Whatever." I sighed in frustration and tried wrapping my head around the fact that was finally sitting right in front of me, all in one piece.

"So where were you? You didn't tell any of us that you'd be gone for two weeks." She was silent for a moment before she started talking.

"Do you know that new Miley Cyrus song? It kinda goes off about beaches and-" I cut her off.

"I don't care about the new Miley Cyrus song. I'm asking you where the hell have you been for the past fifteen days. Why didn't you call? Or even texted to say that you were okay? Becky was so worried. The boys were worried." She stared at me blankly.

"You didn't even let me finish." She defended.

"You're not listening to me, Sam." She glared at me and stood up to hover me.

"No, you're not listening to me. I'm trying to get you to understand." I stood up also and put both my hands on my hips.

"Understand what?" She blinked.

"The new Miley Cyrus song." I sighed.

"You're drunk, Sam. You're speaking nonsense." I started to look around in search for anybody that could help us, or more likely, her. "What are we even waiting for?" She shrugged her shoulders.

"My mom. She has the key."

"Well then where is she?" She shrugged once more.

"I don't know?"

"What do you mean you don't know?"

"I told you, I don't know."

"What time does she come back?"
