I can't hold it.
There's just too much. Far too much for me – for my body, for my mind – to control. I have to let it out.
I'm trapped.
Constrained inside an orb of cascading water that ripples before it's touched. Its walls close in on me. Not slowly, rapidly twisting until it crashes against me.
I can't drown, not unless I give in.
A scream releases itself from my unwilling lips as my body tenses in pain.
Don't give in.
I'm whipped by an icy lashing wave.
Stay
A swirling ribbon of red dances in front of me. Another whip. Another ribbon.
Here.
Droplets trickle their way down my throat.
Stay
The trickle grows to a river.
Me.
I can't
Stay
Breathe.
Clodagh.
