"Damn you Itachi Uchiha!" His rage fueled his tone. With nothing more than the darkness around him, he couldn't find his way. The last bit he remembered was his once possible vessel had overused the curse mark, thus giving way for the Sannin to come out into the world once again. He felt derailed from his goals like he was close to obtaining from the cursed clan. Then again that could be the reason for his folly. Being sealed withing a spiritual sword that was the least of his problems. He couldn't go back without the means of the outside world. The main issue was trying to find a way out and frankly, Orochimaru did not have the clue to escape.

He assumed he was floating in the nothingness considering he can't feel his feet or anything for that matter. Trying to find a sense of direction within a sealed space. He was starting to lose his patience from being in there too long. For all, he knew it could be years after Sasuke's and Itachi's battle. Orochimaru was considering the fact maybe Itachi could have maybe involved in a genjutsu in the mix so that even undoing the seal of the spirit weapon would cause more trouble. The trouble that would be worth it in the end.

"Once I escape this void, I will have them both!" Infuriated was one thing but the adult knew not to lose his focus but in this place of absolute nothingness. He just couldn't help but feel a great deal urgency causing him to become impatient. His sanity was being challenged by many things sickness, forever progression halt from his teacher, and those damned Uchiha! He was killed once now he gets sealed, he rather is killed at least he wouldn't have to deal with the presence of time.

The eight-headed serpent Jutsu failed because of Itachi, he was sealed by Itachi, and forced to have a limited supply of Sharingan users thanks to Itachi. What more can the guy add onto the list? Oh, the revenge-driven little brother that used his curse mark as well as those hatred induced eyes to kill him! Yet here he was, he knew he miscalculated the extent the older brother took into consideration, that much was certain. He needed a plan.

Well, maybe hand signs? No, he couldn't feel or see his hands, to begin with. Chakra? His control and manipulation were as poor as a lowly genin. What else could he do? As far he could tell there wasn't any Chakra present around him but he could tell it was there otherwise the seal would not have held him down this much.

Finally taking in one last look around before exhausting his mind. There was a small light nearby. Something he did not notice before, probably from his mental struggle to solve the situation. Making an attempt to approach the small light became a hole the size of a door nob.

"Oi Deku! What's that you got there?" A voice announced from the outside. Rather young, the Sannin noticed. Looking into it, he saw a boy holding onto a small gourd. It was red, the same color as the sealing gourd the Uchiha had sealed him in.

"It's n-nothing Kaachan!" The boy tightly holding and hiding the gourd away from the bullies. The other child started to get excited. His hands started to combust small explosions. Orochimaru waited for something to happen. At least a moment where he can assess the situation to make an escape.

"Come on Deku, you cannot hide stuff from me. Let me just take that bottle." In the small hole of light, the sealed Sannin spectated the childish confrontation a bit more. What looks like the reserved child was trying hard to protect the gourd. Unfortunately, he did not last long after the other boy blasted him.

"The hell is this? Some kind of antique? It looks like trash!" The blonde boy declared before he threw the gourd into the ground. That instant, the sannin's world became bright and clear as the day he had seen through the hole.

"No! That was my mother's heirloom!" The beta-child cried in tragedy while the blond laughed at the child's tears. "Well not anymore!" Immediately what followed was the daily beating the green-haired child had received. Not twenty minutes later, the sad child was now a beaten one. Crying on the floor before a hissing sound caught his attention.
